I’m still quite overwhelmed by the fact there’s now over 3000 people here.

Whether you’ve just discovered me or you’ve followed me for a while, thank you for being here.

I’ve always loved interiors so it’s great to have a place to share the progress in my own home as well as my thought process with likeminded people.

Thank you again and if you have any questions please leave a comment or send me a message 🩷 by @sparklife_

When I get asked what my interior style is I never know how to answer. I like;

Colour
Pattern
Mixing old with new
Pretty but functional

What would you call my style? by @sparklife_

As we’ve been in our home almost two years I thought I’d put some clips together of how we got here.

2021 we fully renovated our terraced house (for the second time). It needed an update and was riddled with damp so we knew it needed sorting to eventually sell.

Fast forward 3 years and the time had come to move on and investing in our home paid off. So if you’re in the middle of a reno project, keep going. by @sparklife_

I unintentionally went AWOL again for a week. We came back from a lovely break away straight into hosting a 40th birthday party and a manic week of work.

I’m planning on getting back to the hallway tomorrow but how exciting is this? My first feature in a magazine from @simplethingsmag showing our built in bookcase 🤗

Hope you’ve had a good week and thank god it’s Friday tomorrow 🥳 by @sparklife_

We’re back home after 5 lovely days in Belgium celebrating Carl turning 40 🇧🇪🍻

We visited Antwerp, Mechelen and Brussels, saw loads of great sights, ate some very good food and drank even better beer.

Such a lovely few days away, but I’m very glad I’ve got the weekend to adjust to being back home before it’s back to work on Monday 😂 by @sparklife_

Some people see a boring house, I saw a chance to put my stamp on it by @sparklife_

A little garden update - just as summer is coming to an end 🫠

We’ve got most of the slats up on the pergola, there’s a couple missing but you can’t see it that much now the sofa is back in place. I can’t believe how much of a difference it has made.

Just need to get some fairy lights up! by @sparklife_

I’ve got a busy couple of days coming up with social plans and, although I’m looking forward to it all, my favourite thing to do is stay home looking like some sort of feral creature 😂

Lyndsay from 10 years ago would be appalled.

At home on a night in my 20s? Tragic.

Staying home in my PJs now? Best. Thing. Ever.

Is anyone else like this or am I just really boring now? 😂 by @sparklife_

Being into interiors is such an expensive hobby 😂 by @sparklife_

As promised I’ve finally done an update on where we’re up to with the hallway so far.

Help me decide on what colours you think I should paint it. I’m leaning towards green on the panelling and maybe a very pale pink on the walls and ceiling or will it be too much pink and green?

Are there any other colours you think I should use? Let me know what you think. by @sparklife_
