Eight years ago, we stood here looking at each other with hearts full of hope, faith, and excitement for the life we were about to build.

Neither of us could have imagined everything these eight years would hold, but through every high and every challenge, we’ve continued choosing each other.

Thank you for loving me, encouraging me, making me laugh, being my safe place, being my strength when I’m weak, and being the steady presence our family depends on. Thank you for leading with strength, showing up with consistency, and loving us well.

The life we’ve built isn’t perfect, but it’s ours, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’m grateful that God brought our paths together, and I’m excited for everything He still has in store for us.

As you turn 36, I’m reminded of how blessed I’ve been to celebrate 15 birthdays by your side. I’ve watched you weather life with strength, grace, and unwavering faith. The love, protection, patience, understanding, and peace you provide to me and Elise is truly unmatched.
