Last night I met my favourite author @ljross_author at an event held by @waterstonestru 📚

She spoke about all of her series, writting process, character development and her career. Louise read a snippet from her new book 'The Lizard' which was really nice and I had it in my lap so I was reading along with her ✨️ There was a Q&A but I was too shy to shout out my questions as I was towards the back of the hall 🙈

I read the Lizard when it came out last week and its a definetly another 5 🌟 from me 🤩 My favourite character reappeared called 'Nell' and it was just a great book and even had a little mention of a little village Coverack which is special to me. Im so pleased to hear there are more in the pipeline for the summer murder mystery series too 🤩

Meeting Louise at the end was special, I was still shy but she is a lovely lady, so friendly, and was nice to be able to tell her I enjoyed The Lizard and her books 🤩

If you havent read this series I highly recommend it and to start reading from the first in the series 'The Cove'. I really enjoyed all the characters, the scene setting, plot everything is paced perfectly and easy to read.

Thank you for writting all these stories which give me so much enjoyment! I also pre ordered @jimrossauthor book 'Hawks Justice' so I can look forward to that too 😀

As I am mainly a kindle reader I thought I would do a little kindle tour of my little baby 📚✨️

This took me forever to create so I hope you like it 🙈

I bought this last year and I take it everywhere with me! As a neurodivergent reader the open dyslexic font and adjustable warmth setting has been SO helpful for me personally.

What a month!!! 🤩🤩🤩

I had another amazing book month, 2,335 pages of stories filled with love, courage, suspense, mystery and atmosphere 📚✨️

Thank you to all these amazing authors for taking me away for the evenings and writting such wonderful books.

First Freida Mcfadden ✅️

🌟🌟🌟🌟

I couldnt stop reading this and finished it within 48 hours my quickest yet!! I guessed early on that Andrew was not all he seemed and knew there was something there.

For me there was no shock plot twist but I couldnt put the book down so it definetley captured me.

I dont think I enjoyed it enough to read more of the series but I enjoyed the book.

Interested to see what her others are like. We are reading the Witch next month as part of our sparkly chapters book club so Im looking forward to that!

Eeeep! So excited to read this!!!

Abroad in the Japan was the book that kickstarted my reading journey last year! It was the first book I read on my kindle 📚

Been really looking forward to this and I couldnt attend any of the book signings so got signed copy from @forumbookscorbridge ✨️

We want to go to Japan one day and I know this is just going to nake us want to go sooner 🙈

ARC review of The Secret Nurse of Paris 📚✨️

A huge thank you to @emblabooks and @sue_fortin_author for giving me this very special first look at Suzanne Fortins latest novel due to be released on the 27th October.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as expected and I am so grateful I get to read and review ahead of publication.

You can read this as a stand alone or after reading The Secret Midwife of Berlin. I read this as a buddy read with @thebatteredbookmark, which was so lovely to share our thoughts and progress together. I look forward to more buddy reads together as we have very similar book tastes 🤩

If you enjoy historical fiction I highly recommend this book!

Well done Sue! I look forward to reading a future book about Evie... 👀

Thought I would show you what im reading and whats sat in my kindle waiting to be read!

Im currently reading dissection of a murder and OMG its so good!!!! I read 40% in one sitting as I couldnt stop and I deffo would have finished it If I didnt have a busy weekend 🙈

I like to have a collection of books I really want to read ready so that when I finish I can jump into something ive already got ready 🤩

I started reading beneath the scarlett sky but stopped as I realised I needed a palette cleanser from historical fiction for just a second so I need to go back to that after another crime or thriller 🤪

What are you reading and have you got anything lined up ready or am I just weird? 🤣

I love red our living room is red as you can see and its so cosy in the cold months with the lamps on 🤩

My doggy is a bit poorly atm so you will have to bare with me as atm but I must say books as always is giving me a great escape 🫶✨️
