Stability shouldn’t be complicated.

We’re greatly honoured for the SpringBok Tripod to receive the 2026 Golden Bullseye Award for Gear of the Year.

🇺🇸 We grinded for several more mornings.

Bruno was sleeping just a handful of hours every night so he could wake up early and come hunting with us. He never skipped a morning. Never complained. He just kept showing up.

Unfortunately, for some reason, the birds didn’t.

I started feeling sad about it, because I was incredibly proud of both Victoria and Bruno. They never gave up, kept waking up in the dark and kept believing that maybe this would be the morning.

But sometimes hunting doesn’t give you the ending you were hoping for.

I guess that was the lesson the mountains had for us this time. We had done everything we could. We had put in the time, the effort and the patience.

Sometimes you just have to accept that it wasn’t meant to happen.

And maybe learning to keep showing up even when there is no reward at the end is a bigger lesson than getting the turkey itself.

🎬 Comment “TEXAS” and I’ll send you the full video!

🤝🏼 taken in Westerwald by @spartanprecision
