Golden hour is great but don't put all your shots in one basket.

We love a spectacular twilight pool shot as much as anyone, but a great Awards entry needs more than one hero image.

Think sparkling water. Landscaping. Architecture. Equipment. Details. Daylight. Movement. People enjoying the space.

Entering a business or one of your people? Get those shots too; your showroom looking sharp, your team in action and professional portraits with a little personality.

Get snapping now. Scramble less later.

Awards season has a habit of making a splash before you’re ready.

Thinking about entering the 2027 SPASA Awards of Excellence? Get ahead now. Blue skies, sparkling pools, green gardens, capture your projects while everything is looking its best. And while it’s all still fresh, start saving those details that will help tell the story later.

Because “I’ll sort it out closer to the deadline” are famous last words. Future you will be very impressed next March.

From today, the Visa, Mastercard, American Express and eftpos card networks will introduce ‘no surcharge’ rules for businesses that accept payments made using prepaid, debit and credit cards from each network. This change is being introduced in line with policy reforms announced by the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA). Simply put, Members who previously charged customers a surcharge for these payment types will no longer be able to do this going forward.⠀

Australiasian National Gold. Innovative Product of the Year.

uDrew Connect Live has taken out the top national award at the SPASA Australia and SPASA New Zealand Awards of Excellence 2026.

Connect Live goes on a builder’s website. A customer types in their address, sees a pool on their own block, and gets a feel for the finished thing before anyone picks up the phone. The builder gets an enquiry with the site detail already in it.

That is a competitive edge, and the trades using it are already ahead.

🏆 We’re incredibly proud to announce that Neptune Swimming Pools has been awarded the 2026 @spasaaustralia Australasian Gold Award for Pool Landscape Design for Pool 9714 🏆

The project began with a clear design objective: to transform two adjoining properties into one cohesive residence. At the heart of the new home, the pool was designed as the architectural bridge between the original properties, forming the centrepiece of the internal courtyard and creating a strong connection between the surrounding living spaces.

Because the pool is enclosed by the residence and viewed from multiple areas of the home, every line, proportion and detail needed to work from every perspective. The raised circular spa creates a sculptural focal point, while the wet deck entry introduces a reflective plane of water that visually extends the architecture and strengthens the relationship between the pool and the home.

The result is a pool that is fundamental to the architecture of the residence, not simply an addition to it. It defines the courtyard, connects the home and gives the entire space a strong visual centre.

To have Pool 9714 recognised at an Australasian level is a significant achievement for our team and one we are incredibly proud to share.
