#artadvocacy -raising public awareness about cultural and economic value of creativity -two free event events at the Ocean County library together-art exhibition “little by little” showing the artwork of Suzanne Pasqualicchio and Basically Ballet’s performance of the #thefairydoll -A Russian Ballet about dolls that come to life in a toy shop. This is my Daughter performing with the #basicallyballet studio as the fairy at the @oceancountylibrarynj. #littlebylittle is the exhibition I am so grateful to have on display at the #laceytownship branch of the #oceancounty library. #littlebylittlealittlebecomesalot - an explanation by means of a Tunisian proverb, of how persistence over intensity can add up to monumental growth and development of self. this Tanzanian proverb emphasizes how I feel about my studio practice. It is creating a consistency over intensity and a lifestyle for me equaling up to being an artist. It is a way of looking at things, many small daily actions, a mindset. During the years prior to becoming an art educator and advocate, Pasqualicchio was part of a team of female mural painters creating numerous public and private large-scale murals over a ten-year period from 2000-2010. While working professionally as a muralist, Suzanne continued to develop her personal body of work, primarily consisting of oil on canvas. Suzanne completed a BA in Art Education from the College of New Jersey in 2006, then a MA in Teaching from Ashford University in 2010. All of her paintings are essentially self-portraits, with her work providing a record of her existence and relationships in this life. It involves the personal discovery and the quieting of a nostalgic desire to hold on. Thus, through her art, the introspective becomes shared. taken in The Noyes in Hammonton by @spasqualicchio

Here’s a peek at my work included in the upcoming show at theNoyes Museum of Art -open reception on Thursday, November 21, 2024 Kramer Hall of Stockton University located in Hammonton,New Jersey. This show “homegrown expressions” will display my painting “all that we do” -this is a work focusing on the relationship of mother-daughter interplay , the complexity of motherhood, and the overlapping layers of identities we hold.
