Fitness content took a back seat to music content but I’m still getting that shit. I love mace training SO MUCH!

Big shouts to @throatpunchforyou and @hunt.as.one for the inspiration and motivation.

Start with the light one and work your way up.

2 minute warning, this is a long one.

Starting a music career at 50 brings us today a song called “Switch” written 20-plus years ago. I wrote the guitar parts and we used to switch bass and guitar for the practice and performance of this tasty jam.

All through my life, I’ve written songs that close with instrumental ending and this one is absolutely my favorite outro. The music itself resonates with me more than lyrics ever did and this is a fine albeit rusty example of the ways that quirkiness unfolds for me.

I don’t know how the long form video with original music is gonna perform but this is a tiny example of my ability and inspiration behind the scenes.

Please leave a comment if ya feel me. Much love frens.

Me and the folks at The Overlook at Flaming Gorge. October 1, 2026.

I’ve been spending the last five days with them, getting them ready to go south for the winter. This year is the first year in many that I get to bring my best self to their home, being helpful and supportive as opposed to needy and broken. My pop had written me off after years of addiction and despair, now he praises me and means on me for help.

Becoming a “man” at 50 years old hasn’t been easy. Knowing that my parents can enjoy their retirement without worrying about what I’m doing or have done is the sole reason I made the decision to get my shit together last year.

To say I’m grateful for the connection and trust and love I feel would be a terrible understatement. I have a real shot at making something of myself with the time I have left and I intent to take full advantage of it.

Thanks for everything Chris Kay and Todd Kay. I love you tons. by @spatchy419

Starting a music career at 50: if I had to pick one favorite band, it would be Clutch. Hands down.

This band was so impactful on my playing and my writing and my soul. I remember picking this CD up on release day way back in 96 or something and subsequently seeing them and Fu Manchu in a downtown church gymnasium with about 100 of my friends.

Enjoy this sample from The Elephant Riders and comment if ya feel me. @clutchofficial

Starting a music career at 50 and I pinky swear promise my content isn’t gonna be just KoRn songs 😂.

This practice is for the soft-introduction to MaZe - a tribute to KoRn - happening on October 24, so it’s getting my practice attention right meow.

Hang in there champ and comment if ya feel@me.

Starting a music career at 50 and this is a repost from a few months ago, when the inspiration was high but the commitment was low.

This is the ending of an original piece called Over The Moat. I have a propensity for instrumental endings to songs and this one is yet another of these compositions.

Comment if ya feel it plz and yanks.
