Just having fun and getting reps in on the bass. Everyday I fall in love with music like I’ve never known, yet I know the feeling.

🌀Moana Supporting Album : Voices Across The Ocean
(OUT NOW)

First & foremost, i acknowledge our ancestors of Pasefika. That without them we wouldn’t have an identity & understanding of LOVE in which we honor today. Love, in which we are warriors of & find strength. And humbleness to know that our purpose is for greater than of our own.

Secondly, faafetai atu ia uso Seiuli @therock & his team for allowing us to be of an echo to the voices of our Moana. Your trust in us to be a part of this is something we value & won’t take for granted. And my beautiful sis @tenelle it’s always an honor to work alongside you.

Next, to all our musicians & artists of Pasefika. Not just those on the project but even those next to rise…. Paddle up & prepare! For when we join, our strides will align traveling us faster through the currents of tomorrow.

And lastly, thank you to all our family’s & all of Pasefika. Polynesia, Micronesia & Melanesia. We are stronger together, as we once were. Much like the ocean and its waves, our voices will only carry by how loud we continue its echo. May this be the sign of our reunion. Here’s to US and much more. 🥂

Anytime brother @f1j1 and I were on the same line up, I’d actually interfere with whomever was pushing him. He’d turn around after hearing the scuffle and we’d just laugh. I’m honored to have been a part of your musical life here big brother, and patiently await our reunion.

I celebrate you by honoring your one year. In celebration of that, a lot of music will be dropping now. Til then, here’s to you big brother.

This film serves a purpose greater than entertainment. Though it falls within the entertainment vehicle, it translate to a deeper connection for us as Pasefika. In a world where connection is trusted on understanding, this is our level of hope that the world can better understand NOT just the culture alone but more importantly the sacredness within the culture.

To see those who look like us on the big screen here in America is an incredibly big deal. I poor my thank yous to uso Seiuli @therock and his incredible team that allowed us to accompany him in sharing our story and culture with the world. I trust our people see the heart in your Tautua, your service in bringing light to who we are.

Musically the soundtrack already pulls at my heart in gratitude. But this here made the tears feel needed. Thank you for the humble representation and experience. Pasefika, go out and experience it yourself. Watch w love and feel it yourself. Support our uso and all those involved. Even if you have to wait for $5 Tuesday like our big family haha. We absolutely loved it and so will you.

Stand up Tagata Pasefika !

Coming back into album mode, I’m making this creative space fun. From jamming my favorite songs to rediscovering the beauty in the pockets. Music has always been parallel to the purpose of existence. Everyone playing a part sharing the shine. NONETHELESS, working together in harmony.

That is the beauty in music and a key element missing today.
