There are plenty of ways to describe a high school.

Programs. Opportunities. Experiences. Traditions.

But there’s one more question worth asking:
What are the results?

At St. Petersburg Catholic, we’re proud of what we offer, & we’re even prouder of the results!

Ask the right questions. Then ask for the results. taken in St. Petersburg Catholic High School by @spchsbarons

Another record-breaking year for Advanced Placement at St. Petersburg Catholic High School!

Our students and faculty achieved outstanding results on this year’s AP exams, setting new benchmarks for academic excellence.

• 91% overall AP exam pass rate
• 10 AP courses earned a perfect 100% pass rate
• 15 AP courses achieved a 90% pass rate or higher
• AP Capstone continues its tradition of excellence with an all-time 100% pass rate in both AP Seminar and AP Research

These results reflect the dedication of our students, the commitment of our faculty, and the strength of the rigorous academic experience at SPCHS.

Congratulations to our students and teachers on an exceptional year. We are proud to celebrate another record-setting performance!

Today we welcomed nearly 230 8th graders from 28 different schools for Baron for a Day! They experienced life as a Baron — exploring our campus, learning about academics and student life, and taking part in fun activities. We had such a great day and can’t wait to see some of these future Barons back at SPC! 💛🖤

Today, we pause to remember and honor all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and the countless heroes who responded with courage and selflessness. We hold their families in our hearts and prayers. Never forget. by @spchsbarons

Dear Baron Family,

Yesterday afternoon at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Walsh Field House, our gymnasium, was struck by lightning, resulting in a fire that affected the building’s roof.

We are incredibly grateful that everyone was safely evacuated and there were no injuries.

We are deeply grateful to the firefighters and first responders who responded quickly and worked to contain the fire and ensure the safety of our campus community.

The Walsh Field House sustained damage to the roof, as well as water damage inside the building from firefighting efforts. Restoration and the assessment process have already begun.

We are working closely with the Diocese of St. Petersburg, our insurance company, fire officials, and restoration professionals to assess the damage and determine when the Walsh Field House, or portions of the facility, can safely return to use. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Most importantly, we are thankful that everyone is safe. We are grateful for the prayers, support, and concern we have already received from our Baron family.

Please continue to keep St. Petersburg Catholic High School in your prayers as we begin the restoration process.

Go Barons! by @spchsbarons
