Had the honor of making the 10 year anniversary version of Statik Selektah’s “What Goes Around”. I had met Statik during SX when I was delivering cassettes of “Start 2 Finish” to Termanology and DJ Deadeye. I recognized him and remembered he had produced on the project so I gave him a copy. “What Goes Around” features an all star cast of artists including MOP, Freddie Gibbs, Joey Badass, Snoop Dogg, Black Thought, Royce Da 5’9, Ab Soul, Action Bronson, Sean Price, B Real, Bun B and many many more.

Looking forward to my showcase for the Curator Series at Hotel Vegas. I’ll be doing a jam session featuring some heavy hitters including Big Wy and The Point. This will be the first iteration of “Buck’s Walkman Repair”, a unique pairing of live looping, beatboxing and cassette DJ’ing.

Also honored to be hosting Locuust, talented multi instrumentalist, producer and lyricist fresh off their Exploded Drawing debut, for a live beat / rap set, Kid Wy performing soulful groves featuring Kind Keith and led by brass maestro Big Wy, and finally finishing the night we have Austin’s own hip hop super group the Space Goonz. They have been instrumental in organizing Underground Voices, currently the premier open mic for hip hop in our city and making waves in the rap scene.
