What a fun night with Adam Sandler. But his comedy is not what I admire most about this man. It's his loyalty. Sure, you may have hundreds or thousands of friends on social media, but the truth is there's really only a small number of people in the world that have your back and would be there for you no matter what. It's easy for everyone to love you when things are going great. But who would really be there when it all falls apart? When you need a friend but it's really inconvenient?

I love the way that Adam has always taken care of the people closest to him and made sure to be loyal to the people that matter to him. So do yourself a favor. Take a long hard look at the people around you and figure out who would really go to battle with you and for you. Then call those people right now and let them know how much you love and appreciate them.

Loyalty matters, because real friendships last forever, but money and fame can disappear in a minute. Make sure they know how much you love and appreciate them, and that you'll always be there for them too. by @speakerjeffhoffman

THIS. This is my why. This is the reason to work so hard. There's nothing wrong with buying nice cars or houses. But they're not your legacy. Your real legacy is how many other people's lives you made better.

Abandoned children have no chance at a better life. So we give them one. We raise them. We give them a home. We give them food and safety. We send them all to school. But most importantly, WE LOVE THEM. No child should live without love. And they give us so much love back. Just look at their faces.

Entrepreneurs like to talk to about how many exits they had. But the only exit that actually matters is leaving the world a better place than you found it.

@shaq and I are up to something!

We will announce it soon. We decided to work together because we share two common goals:

1. Never grow up (it's overrated)
2. The path to true happiness is delivering happiness to others. We want our legacy to be about the children and families we helped along the way.

Ecuador! Thank you Ecuador for your endless smiles and incredible hospitality (and okay fine, that Ecuadorian corn 😁).

It was a very busy week for me of speeches, media interviews, conversations with entrepreneurs, lunch with students, and more.

Ecuador is so much more than you could possibly imagine. You have definitely carved out a place in my heart, and gave me so many amazing memories. I'll be back, and everyone else should visit too.

We're making movies!

For me, this is about the power of storytelling. The chance to touch people's hearts and fill them with hope and understanding. To lift and empower people at a time when the world needs it most.

Watching our cast and crew at work here on the movie set reminds me of the magic that happens when really talented people (like this team!) are fueled by passion and purpose, and come together as one single entity to tell a story that truly captures the human experience. That's what I witnessed today.

And a note to you, too, AI. Until you've gone through a devastating breakup, or had someone in your family battling cancer, AI will never reach the depth of understanding that only comes from having your heart broken or struggling through the worst of times.

AI will help us with many things in our lives. But it will never be able to tell our story.

We started our new entertainment company to provide a business layer that allows creative people the freedom to bring their art to the world, and leave their mark on history.

As a founding board member of the Unreasonable Group, I cannot be more proud to be here in the Catskill Mountains with @unreasonable and @marsglobal mentoring and supporting a group of incredible founders developing food solutions for the world.

I am so thrilled and honored to be part of this team, and to know that these entrepreneurs have positively impacted over 1 billion lives in over 180 countries.

Of course we all know and love our favorite Mars products, but what I love most is that the people at Mars are passionately dedicated to finding and delivering healthy food solutions for all.

What a week, giving an opening keynote speech to founders and investors from around the world at LEAP, the world's largest tech conference, with over 200,000 people attending. I talked about what the future successful founder will look like in the age of AI, and then I had the honor of doing a closing fireside chat with His Royal Highness Prince Fahad about what it takes for startups to go global. Big crowds, good times, and a lot of new connections made. by @speakerjeffhoffman

Ok we have added a few additional seats as requested. If you know football, you know who these guys are.

Just flew from Dubai to Florida with Rivaldo, World Cup winner for Brazil, FIFA World Player of the Year, Ballon d'Or winner, and UEFA Champions League winner.

Was coming home from a trip spending time with my friend Patrice Evra, five time Premier League winner, Captain of Manchester United, and UEFA Champions League winner.

And if you know American football, you know the friend I ran into on my last trip, Jerome "The Bus" Bettis, Super Bowl Champion with the Pittsburgh Steelers, six time Pro Bowler, Offensive Rookie of the Year, and top ten running back of all time.

Why do I like having athletes as friends? Because winners in any game of life have habits and attitudes that everybody else doesn't. Being around them challenges me to never stop pushing forward and never stop trying to get just a little bit better each day.

I recently wound up in the hospital and had to have surgery. The doctors are required to tell you that you may never wake up from the surgery. As I lay there in bed waiting, I asked myself “if this really was the end for me, did I do something with my life that mattered?”.

What will your legacy be when your journey ends? Another business deal? Another exit? Another dollar made? Or something that truly matters. So I asked myself the question you should be asking yourself too – what can I do, what will I do, that really matters? What will I be remembered for most?

And I know the answer for me: It’s TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF A CHILD.

Here I am in Austin, post surgery, with the amazing kids and young adults at the Thriveable Summer Camp Intensive, produced by the incredible Lorra Dailey and her team. If I can contribute even in a small way to inspiring the next generation of leaders, educating them and encouraging them to become heart-centered leaders who don’t see race or color or gender, who see the beauty in people for who they are on the inside, not the outside, then maybe the future is a lot brighter than the present might seem. Maybe the last little girl or boy I worked with will be the one who changes the world for the better.

Thriveable is a fantastic program for preparing our youth for the world ahead of them. These kids filled my soul with energy and optimism. At the end they all wrote notes to me on postcards. I can’t think of a more valuable thing I own.

Yes, my post-surgery stitches were hurting that day. By the joy that filled my heart was the best medicine I could possibly take. by @speakerjeffhoffman
