‼️RESPECT OUR WATERS‼️
We have been seeing a number of people coming over to the Bahamas lately and harvesting the Caribbean spiny lobster out of season.
Not only is it illegal, it is disrespectful to the country of the Bahamas and its citizens.
The Caribbean Spiny Lobster season is closed from March 31 - August 1. We will be working with https://nfabahamas.org/ in the future to crack down on poaching in the Bahamas.
This would not be allowed in your own country, so why is it ok to do it in ours? 🇧🇸

One of many reasons why you should never dive alone. Made a drop to check out the size of this chum dumb mutton and decided to send it, and made a friend!! Thank you @sharkbanz for always having my back, having that extra length of safety goes a long way in remote places.

As the water heats up for the summer, the sharks get irritated too. Be safe this summer! @floridaspearo423 took his eye off this one for a second and it took the opportunity 🇧🇸 •

Amazing trip to the Bahamas this weekend. After years of being crushed by cuberas, I Finally got the one that made up for all the heartbreaks. One of my favorite videos from the archives, just shows the pure stoke that comes along with these big groupers on pole spear. Me and @quadespivey had been diving on this fish for multiple hours and put countless of shots in him before he finally gave up and we got him up to the surface, these big groupers are so smart, so powerful and always such a fun challenge.
