The part nobody tells you about paint protection film. 🔍

It doesn't hide bad paint — it seals in whatever's underneath. That's why correction comes first: pull the swirls and the oxidation out, then lay the film over a finish that's actually right.

Do it in that order and it looks like glass for years.

Windshield PPF going onto this Subaru STI track car! 🛡️

People think paint protection film stops at the paint — it doesn't. Glass takes the same highway debris, and a chipped windshield is a lot more annoying than a chipped fender.

Protecting the glass you already have costs a lot less than replacing it after one rock. The film takes the hit instead.

Self-healing, and it sheds water. 💧

Modern paint protection film pulls its own light scratches back out with heat, and the top coat is hydrophobic — water beads off instead of sitting on the paint and drying into spots.
