Tour Divide 2026
What a beautiful and brutal ride, a bicycle race from Banff, Alberta Canada to Antelope Wells, NM USA was 2,700 miles along the high country of the Continental Divide. Self-supported… alone, but the people met along the way, the small towns and locals that are so encouraging, the racers sharing the miles, and loved ones back home sending their love when you get a little cell service make this all possible. Thank you!
I finished in 19 days & 45 seconds. Oh so close to that sub 19 mark, but I couldn’t be happier as i smashed my overall goal and had an incredible ride.
Im grateful to have the opportunity to even attempt such a wonderful journey, and props to anyone who gives it a try. Its is truly the hardest physical challenge of my life. And im honored to have finished and im humbled by the magnitude of this effort. Several of my biggest days on a bike back to back. I learned a lot about resiliency along the way.
Thanks again to my amazing partner @carlyshira for being there when I needed to share frustration, needed encouragement and times when i was proud of myself.
She’s the best and holy smokes she picked me up from nowhere New Mexico!
Also thanks to Adam @sanutildesign, the bags were perfect. I can tell you without a doubt these things are durable. I appreciate all the support over the years to get me here.
So many photos along the trip, and I’ll share more in time, but what do we have here? i thought it’d be fun to put together each day i was on route, where i started to where i slept (even if it was only a few hours) with some stats.

On Friday morning I start the Tour Divide bike race! Many miles, many moons down the continental divide from Banff, Canada to US/Mexico border. I’m so stoked to be riding this route, to see what I can do over such an incredible and ambitious bike ride. Nights under the stars, little towns with gracious people, critter sightings, drastic weather changes, peaks and valleys. Thanks to all who have supported me to get to the start line. So grateful for this opportunity!

Adam at @sanutildesign has the best bags, seriously. I chase him all over the trails of the Fraser Valley and he has unwavering faith in me even if I sometimes don’t. Thank you.

Carly Shira, my incredible partner and fiancée, will be at the start line and at the finish line and on the phone at moments along the way - to share some of the tough times. But truly all the support, time, understanding and encouragement over the last several months in preparation for this journey means the world to me. Thank you and I love you.

NYC this summer with @carlyshira!
Here are some heavily edited photos for a moody NYC vibe.
Great to visit some wonderful humans while I was there!
I’ve been to the city many times but here are some first experiences this summer:
Subway ride to Coney Island
Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty tour
Broadway Musical, Book of Mormon
Chelsea Market

Anyways, I usually just end up walking around the city for hours until my feet hurt, it’s great.
Life is tight, travel if you can and have fun either way. by @special.agent.fox

Tour Divide route 2024

Hard to describe my experience on this trip. So much time alone, the ups and downs, everyday nearing the destination with each pedal stroke. However it’s about the journey, and looking back at the trip after my bike came to a rest in Winter Park, CO it was overwhelming to think how far I’ve come from Banff. All the memories made and forgotten along the way. The people I met out there, the kindness and questions of the locals in the communities as well as the camaraderie and kinship of fellow cyclists.
I’ve posted many photos from this journey and have hundreds more. But as the seasons change in the Colorado Rockies I look back at my experience on the tour divide route and wanted to share that my time on the bike was truly remarkable but hard to put to words and more pictures (with a Wes Anderson style filter, for fun).

Huge thanks for all the support and stoke I received leading up to, during and after this amazing adventure!
