Artist Introduction (3/3)
18.07 ⊹ Jonny Knüppel

I’m Emmy, that’s what my friends call me. I grew up in sunny Sitges, Spain and moved to Potsdam, Germany, 12 years ago, which has since become my home.

I discovered DJing during the pandemic. At first, I explored many different styles, but over time I found that Hardtrance resonated with me. Today, I love playing different kinds of Psytrance, Progressiv, Trance and Tribe music.

What I love most is playing different genres for different dancefloors and watching people lose themselves in the music. Seeing dancers feel free, present, and connected is the most beautiful part of what I do.

Psy wizards goblyyn and vSto join forces to cast the most twisted and mind bending spells at their disposal. in preparation for their set they’ve been delving deep into old forbidden tomes containing powerful oldschool goa and forest incantations, combining them with more modern ones. be wary when entering the floor because you might turn into a frog or grow some extra limbs. expect music made by freaks, for the freaks.

astral.lab x Curiosity Pill x Speedgasm x vehemence return on Saturday, 18th July for another extended session in Jonny Knüppel, one of Berlin’s most storied venues. This time with three floors and a heavier heart.
Why this gathering feels more fragile this time? Jonny Knüppel, like so many cultural spaces in this city, is facing an ending. diskoBabel e.V. and its collectives will need to vacate in October 2026. The city is being sold off, its culture pushed aside.
Another hole in the city’s soul, another office block where dance floors once pulsed. It’s heartbreaking and exhausting. A story we know too well. But we are still here. Still dancing. Still showing up.
This event represents something bigger: a reminder that people preserve culture, create communities, and together give meaning to spaces.
We invite you to celebrate with us - the artists and staff who carry that culture forward, proving that communities outlive the spaces they inhabit. But we also invite you to support the preservation of these communities, the search for a new home, and the rebuilding that comes after.
We want to sincerely thank all artists for their time, support, and contribution. Jonny Knüppel’s final season is still unwritten, and together with you, we want to fill it with core memories that last.
Come celebrate. Come grieve. Come dance while these walls still stand. Let’s make this one count.
Keep in mind: a pre-sale ticket does not guarantee entry. And please respect the venue’s NO PHOTOS policy.

Artist Introduction (1/3)
18.07 ⊹ Jonny Knüppel @jonnyknueppel

Forged in Berlin’s ever-evolving underground, SACID exists at the intersection of raw energy and meticulous control. With a sound shaped by the city’s uncompromising club culture yet unbound by its conventions, SACID approaches every set as a living narrative. She contributes her part in shaping the scene as a founder and curator of Oxtytocin and as a part of Khisdapaze.

Artist Introduction (1/3)
18.07 ⊹ Jonny Knüppel

Cirrus and Transire are Berlin-based DJs channeling the spirit of psychedelic trance across Psy, Goa & Prog from late-90s to mid-2000s.

With an insatiable passion for vinyl and rare digital gems, they dig through forgotten archives, lost Discogs pages and time-frozen corners, unearthing hidden relics~

Core members of the Friends Lovers & Family Open Air at BER Airport, they played PSYCLE for the first time on New Year’s and it really sparked.

The fusion of their musical spheres emerges into a sonic world that is signified by insanely mystical, spell-binding and magnetic story telling.

Artist Introduction 🌀

Pavlos incepted the project ‚dawnbreaker‘ as a medium to express a range of resonating soundscapes. Over the past 2 years ‘ Dawnbreaker’ has been coming to light, drawing knowledge from amazing producers whom they’ve felt inspired by. Delving into Psytek, Atmospheric progression, and slambient realms, with an emphasis on frequency modulation. Compositions released under this Alias draw influence from mythological principles derived from antiquity and non-fiction literature, travelling beyond the veil of existence. by @speedgasm_

With every gathering, the ritual expands.

On 05/06 for the celebration of our second compilation (Speedgasm VA Vol.2) we are honored to open a third floor hosted by our dear friends at PPS. An extension of the night shaped by shared visions, mutual support, and the sounds that continue to bring our communities together.

What was already a stacked lineup now grows into something even larger.
Three floors dedicated to movement, connection, and the stories we continue to write together.

This will be one for the books. taken in VOID Berlin by @speedgasm_
