✨In the future we have Cosmo Scouts✨
Merit badges include: moon base camping, weightless hiking, and exploring un-mapped quadrants.
.
Sketched in procreate, then taken home in Adobe Illustrator. This was one of those drawings that’s had absolutely no plan and it just revealed itself as I went. 👉swipe👉 for linework and bonus ‘borderless’ version because I couldn’t decide 😬❤️

The Nokia Snake Machine was a popular handheld device during the infancy of the cell phone wars. Consumers flocked to this piece of technology simply to play the popular snake mobile game without interruption. Unable to make or receive calls, the antenna on each unit was merely for uploading high scores to the internet. #vectorart #vectorillustration #adobeillustrator by @speedlag

Throwback to the Sonny Discdude - If you were in high school in the early 2000s, you had this thing strapped to your waist, and those iconic headphones wrapped around your neck. But what album (or Napster fueled mix cd) were you spinnin in this thing?

Further (spoiler free) selection of style frames from my ongoing personal film ‘CYCLE’.
-
Working my way through shots and layout as I chip away on this thing. I’m turning all y’all into my accountabilibuddies to help get me through this. All frames are vector and illustrated in Adobe Illustrator. My plan is to take these straight into Moho and animate most character animation in there
-
And!! If you have any creepy synthy music you like i’m putting a playlist together to get me in the mood while I work. Along the lines of Lorn, Boards of Canada, and The Stranger Things theme. by @speedlag

Don’t know what to animate? Then animate a walk cycle! This is (a very quick) look at my workflow when I animated this walk cycle using @mohoanimation . The steps are pretty typical of how I rig and work, I have a longer video where I’ll talk about my entire process in detail dropping later this week. 👀
.
The character featured is my OC from my ongoing short film project: CYCLE

Selection of style explorations from my ongoing personal project ‘CYCLE’
-
Just in time for fall, I wanted to share some exploration for my horror short that i’ve been frantically chipping away at. I’ve revisited and restarted the look-dev process over and over. But things are finally beginning to solidify into something that feels like what I envisioned years ago. No spoilers here, of course. Just spooky vibes.
-
All illustrations are hand-placed bezier vector illustrations (as I do).

The ‘Brick’ portable cassette player: The convenient handle and overweight internal speaker made it a better bludgeon than music player. In the late 80s, it gained a reputation as a clutch weapon in hand to hand conflict.
.
Terrible sound quality and poor case integrity relegated this device to obscurity.
