Today, 17 October 2026, I brought my Royal Enfield motorcycle to the service centre because it has developed an unusual engine noise, almost like something is broken or a part inside the engine or exhaust is loose. Since this is a complaint regarding an abnormal noise, I contacted the Royal Enfield service team and got an urgent visit approved.

However, when I reached the service centre, I was initially told that they would not accept my bike because I did not have an appointment. I explained that I had already spoken to the Royal Enfield team and had been granted permission to visit on an urgent basis. After that, my bike was taken inside the service centre.

Now, I have no confirmed timeline for when I will get my bike back. I have been asked to wait for at least one week, but even that is not confirmed. The bike has been taken in for an unresolved mechanical complaint, and I am left without a clear repair timeline or delivery date. This entire situation is frustrating, especially when I followed the service team's instructions and came on an urgent request approved by them.

My daily schedule and content creation work are heavily dependent on this bike, as it is an essential part of my work as a motovlogger. Keeping my bike at the service centre for an uncertain period directly affects my work, content plans, and daily routine.

45L TOP BOX ≠ 45KG PAYLOAD! 🧳⚠️

Company 45L ka top box deti hai aur maximum payload 7 kg batati hai — toh kya company hume scam kar rahi hai? 🤔

Answer: NO.

Yahan confusion “Litre” aur “KG” ko lekar hai.

🔹 45L = Volume / Size
Iska matlab hai top box ke andar total 45 litres ki storage space hai.

🔹 7 KG = Maximum Payload
Iska matlab hai top box + mounting system par recommended maximum load 7 kg tak hai.

Toh 45L top box mein aap helmet, riding jacket, gloves, rain gear, small luggage etc. easily carry kar sakte ho — lekin iska matlab ye bilkul nahi ki aap uske andar 45 kg ka samaan bhar sakte ho.

Simple example:
1 litre bottle ≠ 1 kg weight.
Litre space ko measure karta hai, kilogram weight ko.

So, 45L is about HOW MUCH YOU CAN FIT, while 7KG is about HOW MUCH YOU CAN LOAD.

Always follow the manufacturer's specified payload limit. 🏍️

Bike overheating in traffic? 🌡️🏍️

A lot of riders unknowingly make small mistakes at red lights that can increase unnecessary heat and clutch load.

One common habit? Staying in gear, holding the clutch in and balancing the bike with the rear brake while waiting at a signal.

Instead, when you know the wait is going to be more than a few seconds:
➡️ Put the bike in neutral
➡️ Release the clutch
➡️ Keep your foot firmly on the ground
➡️ Use the brakes normally to keep the bike stationary

It reduces unnecessary clutch load and makes waiting at traffic lights easier on both you and your bike.

But remember — overheating can have multiple causes. If your bike is overheating unusually even during normal riding, get the cooling system checked. 🔧
