Y’all today just doesn’t feel right.
Without Adam Wilkins here, I should be texting him and calling him, excited to drop this new song at midnight tonight, preparing to push it out into the world. Instead, I’m overwhelmed with the feeling of grief and wishing you were here, Adam.

Tell your people you love them. We aren’t promised tomorrow. Live your life the way YOU fucking want. Love who you love. Take those chances. Say the things you need to say when you need to say em. Live like there’s no tomorrow cause y’all there may not be.

Fly high, brother

ADAM FOREVER 🕊️

I just want to say thank you to everyone who made last night possible. From the friends who helped load gear and made sure we had everything we needed to make it happen, to everyone who came out and supported Adam and his family we truly can’t thank you enough.

A huge thank you to Kingpin’s, Counts Brothers Music, Sutherland Sight & Sound, and Fine Era Productions for helping make this night happen.

We truly had a special night because the entire community came together for Adam and his family.

Last night was a reminder of just how much one person can mean to so many people. by @spencercoldclay

I never thought I would be playing our first hometown show without Adam, but I promise to get so crazy and loud tomorrow night that he can hear us on the other side.

Today I lost a true friend.
My friend and brother, Adam Wilkins
Adam was more than a drummer or someone I played music with. He was family. I could never put into a simple post what he meant to me or capture all the stories, memories, ups, and downs we shared. We would have to write a book.

as I wipe the tears from my eyes today, one thing I can truly say is that a true friend is hard to find.

A true friend is someone you can call in the middle of the night, no matter what has happened, and they will be there to help you.

A true friend is someone you can both tear each other apart, argue with, and still learn to forgive because the love you have for each other is stronger than the stupid things life tries to put in the way.

Not a day will go by that I don’t think about how much you believed in me, how much you trusted me, and how you always believed in my crazy vision even when it didn’t make sense. You always had my back, even when we were getting into it, butting heads, or driving each other crazy.

I watched Adam have to become a man and grow up so fast, and through it all, he became one of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. I love you, Adam.

We will carry you in our hearts, in our memories, and in our music until the day we meet again.
Rest easy, brother. by @spencercoldclay

Today was wild y’all. Super honored to be a in a documentary on cigar box guitars by six time Emmy Award winning Dennis Baxter.

When I was a kid, I saw my first live performance by a street performer named Richard Johnston. He played a cigar box guitar, and something about it lit a fire inside of me. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to play music.

Getting to be a part of this documentary and represent the instrument that made me fall in love with music in the first place is a true full circle moment. So damn grateful for the opportunity, and I can't wait for y’all to see this shit 🤘
