Some people slowly become more than friends. James was family.

Growing up, my mom used to get her nails done at his sister’s house, and instead of sitting inside, I’d go hang out with James in the garage. Some of my favorite memories were out there making swords out of scrap metal, installing neon lights under my car during the Fast & Furious days, or just talking about life for hours.

That was James. If you needed help, he showed up. No questions asked. He had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I’ve ever known and would truly do anything for anybody.

Even after I moved to LA, he was still one of my first calls anytime I needed advice. Every trip home usually ended with us sitting in the garage solving world problems together.

One thing James always said when you asked how he was doing was, “Fine as frog’s fur.”

I hope you’re finally at peace and fine as frog’s fur, James. Miss you already. by @spencerpaddock

Stop the drift. Set the tempo.

We bridge the gap between your vision and the final outcome.

The heart of America is in the men and women who connect our communities. This man has been working on the new Tampa bridge, linking two cities together.

Just before the plunge, a fellow diver makes sure everything is shipshape for the main diver. Teamwork makes the underwater work go smoothly, especially when you’re suited up like an astronaut of the ocean.

Watching these divers work underwater for hours is truly amazing. With their heavy gear, they plunge into the deep to fix things like piers, ensuring safety and stability from beneath the waves. You couldn’t pay me to do this job—too much water and not enough coffee breaks! Haha. 🤣

🌺 Tradition Through Youthful Eyes 🌺

In the spirit of Dia de los Muertos, this portrait captures the vibrant essence of tradition carried forward by the younger generation. Adorned with marigolds, a symbol of life and death in Mexican culture, she bridges the past and future, celebrating the memory of those who have passed on while embracing the beauty of life and heritage.

Domi poses with her husband in front of her ofrenda. When I asked her what Dia de los Muertos meant to her, she said this: "My parents and grandparents taught me this tradition every year and I continue it with my kids and grandkids so they can continue the tradition. A lot of people do not believe that our ancestors come back but it’s important to me that my family remembers."⁣.
