All aboard the the back2back express 🥇🗣️

This one’s been a lot more emotional than I ever could’ve imagined. My parents instilled the love for this race in me many moons ago and I can’t remember a time where it wasn’t on the tv on race day.

I’d have loved to show uMathangana my finishers medal but I know she’s watching with pride. Tomorrow’s run is for her and Kmakh who chewed my ears off for years about finally doing iconic race. ‘It was never gonna be eeeeasy’ he always said 😂🫶🏾

Here’s to them both. Hopefully I can bring them back a medal each.

Ayikhale! ⛏️

3️⃣ things can be true at the same time:

1. I caught hands today. 5 piece extra crispy.
2. I’d have been worse off without my friends and crew
3. @immyfak is actually my guardian angel 🤣
