Even though my first @indstfb game of the season wasn't the outcome I wanted, the atmosphere for Homecoming was still electric! Got to say hi to @tammyschaffer and the Spirit Squad was incredible as always. Plus I got to see one of my favorite college mascots have the best run of the day in winning the mascot race!

Win or lose, I'm still a fan! #GoTrees #ISU 💙🖤 taken in Memorial Stadium (Terre Haute) by @spikydash

I certainly did a lot of celebrating for @thunderbugtbl today! Had good meals, drank an entire can of Pepsi out of my replica Stanley Cup, and jammed out to some music.
But the one thing I definitely had to do was update my coloring page for T-Bug on my personal Mascot Wall of Fame. The one I had from 6 years ago was old, faded, and the blue color had turned to more of a navy. What better time than now to give ThunderBug's page an upgrade after such an accomplishment 💙💛 by @spikydash

For my day off on Thursday, September 10, 2026, I'm declaring it THUNDERBUG DAY at my house, recognizing @thunderbugtbl's incredible accomplishment as 2026 NHL Mascot of the Year.
I was a Lightning fan before I first met T-Bug in 2016, but that day, and several others since, has only reaffirmed what I've known now for a decade: ThunderBug is my favorite NHL mascot, without question. He was one of my early inductees into my own personal Mascot Wall of Fame, because he has left an indelible mark on my life, in interactions both IRL and on social media.
To say that I am proud of ThunderBug is an understatement - I am BEYOND THRILLED that he has been rewarded for all he does both on and off the ice for the Lightning, the community, and his fans.
Love you always, T-Bug. Congrats once again. You've earned it and deserve it. 💙💛 by @spikydash

After I had Azubalt make his debut at Whinny City 2026 this June, I quickly realized that the mesh hockey socks I was wearing simply weren't the most comfortable or the best for mobility. So I decided to make a change and went a bit more nostalgic with the OLD-SCHOOL KNIT SOCKS! And honestly, it's the right decision because these are a perfect fit and not too tight at all. It will be so much easier for me to move around rocking these instead of the mesh. Here's the first pics of Azubalt in the new gear! New gear, same old blue 🐺! 💙🖤 by @spikydash

So after finding this 00 Titans jersey on Ebay, I knew i just *had* to do something with it after the Titans killed off T-Rac's history, legacy, and character with a furry replacement.
I normally don't own "joke jerseys" in my collection, but this had to be done since the Titans did it to themselves.
Ladies and gentlemen...the T-WAC Joke Jersey.
And yes, I just had to have Google Gemini edit a picture of the new version and have it wearing the jersey 🤣

I'm trying to find whatever positives and happy moments I can during this Storm Week from Hell that is just pounding Indiana. One happened today, when I got to debut my newest Adidas kicks at work, the Runfalcon 5. This is the same model that @buzz_gt was wearing before Georgia Tech switched to being an Under Armour school.

Like most of my jerseys are mascot-custom or mascot-inspired, nearly my entire shoe collection is mascot-inspired, as most models I own were worn by some of my favorite mascots over the years. And I can see why, as there's not an uncomfortable pair in my collection!

It's such a shame when a professional team decides to make a change and take a dump on a well-established mascot that had 27 years worth of history. But the Titans are not your typical team, because they keep making dumb decisions that continue to alienate and upset their fanbase. I'm not even a Titans fan, but I truly liked this version of T-Rac. Seeing the makeover version just hurt. Kudos to the Titans fans who are cancelling their season tickets and didn't attend the scrimmage! GOOD! Hit em where it hurts, RIGHT IN THEIR WALLETS!
I'm not calling the new version by that name. He's more like T-WACK.
But to the OG...thank you for everything. I'm glad I got to meet you before this decision was made. 🩵
