Hello everyone! Welcome to my lil’ chaos corner. I thought I’d recap a few things and tell you a little bit more about me. As you’ve seen, my name is Lilyin and I’m 27. I grew up in Washington State. All my life I’ve been surrounded by greenery and water, and that is still where I feel most like myself. I’ve been an avid (and feral) reader since I was a child, so I finally decided that maybe bookstagram had a place for me to freely ramble about what I love with likeminded people.

I want to start off by saying I am very loud and unapologetic about my morals and values. I will always do my best to elevate marginalized voices and people. The world will not ever know peace until Black, Brown, and Indigenous people do. Advocacy for mental health and disabled people is incredibly important to me. LGBTQIA+ people deserve love, peace, safety, and freedom like everyone else. Goth is BLACK.. and political. Reading is political. If any of that is something you disagree with, gon’ head and peacefully make your exit here. ✌🏽🦇

I currently reside in both WA and CA. If I’m not fully immersed in a book (albeit rare), I’m spending my time yapping with my partner and friends, playing games, watching ungodly amounts of television, somewhere at a concert, in nature, or in my room tinkering with herbs, crystals, and doing some type of spiritual work.

I listen to all kinds of music but my favorite genres are darkwave, japanese metal, symphonic metal, cold wave, industrial, some synth-pop, horror-punk, psychobilly, post-hardcore, jazz fusion, soul, and r&b. My current favorite artists are Twin Tribes, Dir En Grey, TR/ST, Slipknot, Priest, Urban Heat, Health, Thundercat, and Kendrick Lamar.

⛓️📕August Wrap Up📕⛓️

BABYYYY. August was a MONTHH. Both the best and worst lowkey LMAO. Like… It felt like a whole year. It’s spooky season now though so I am ALIVEEEEE, and I can’t wait for all the reads coming the rest of the year.

We had a BANGER of a book roster though I can’t lie! It was a buddy read centric time for me fr. I had a ball reading with all of my babies, a lot of collective screaming and chaos 😭🖤

I also watched a disgusting amount of TV, and played entirely too much Moonlight Peaks and Palia.

Today’s agenda is an ADHD coded TWO (2) drink special and continuing the journey of chaos that is The Secret World of Maggie Grey by Granger while I bed rot with a heating pad. This series though? It’s been putting me through the wringer chile and I cannoooot stop. I’m 15% in to The Three Brothers and I know two things for sure: I need to be at Drew Collin’s University YESTERDAY, and Celeste is gon be my GIRLL 😭
