Valerie’s @valerie__sw musical roots trace back to Bielefeld, where the Forum was one of her first encounters with techno and electronic music. Returning to the Forum now feels like a full circle moment.

As the founder of @spinningwaves_ and a member of the UNIO Festival Crew, Valerie is involved in creating spaces that bring people together around music and shared experiences.

As a DJ, she moves freely through the different shades of Minimal, House and Techno.

maos @maossssssss originates from Hannover, where he first stepped behind the decks at the age of sixteen. Almost two decades later, his love for sound remains deeply rooted in vinyl culture and record collecting.

Over the years, he became a familiar face at Weidendamm in Hannover and later found a second musical home at Studio in Essen. With his own event series Ruhrpott No Limit, he continued to shape his own musical identity and create spaces for the sound and artists he believes in. As the founder of @unio_festival, he has also been shaping his own platform beyond the booth, bringing together music, artists and community.

His sets flow seamlessly from minimal to house, evolving into driving, hypnotic journeys that capture the moment. For maos, it has never been about sticking to a fixed formula, but about reading the room and letting the night develop naturally.

Kiese is one of the founders of Spinning Waves and loves Minimal House and Dub House. He’ll also bring this record to our daytime party with @laremise.berlin on September 12th.

A track that means a lot to him:
Roger Gerressen – Trip With My Own – STLR002

“This one takes me back to when I first discovered this kind of music and slowly started falling deeper into it.

Roger Gerressen has been one of my favourite artists for a long time, and this track is a beautiful reminder of why I fell in love with this sound in the first place.

Deep grooves. Dubby textures. Good memories.” taken in Berlin, Deutschland by @spinningwaves_

On February 6, SPINNING WAVES returns for its third edition at Mom’s Limousine Service.
A night of house and minimal shaped by shared energy and the flow between booth and floor.

Lauan de Brito, aka LaLa, is a vienna-based DJ and bassist whose sets glide effortlessly across eras and genres. Born in Canada to Brazilian parents and raised in Portugal, he moved to Vienna in 2015 and became a fixture of the city’s underground scene. A devote vinyl digger, LaLa weaves funk, dark wave, house, electro and new beat with an instinctive feel for groove and flow. Co-founder of Beyond² Festival and part of the WRECK collective, he’s been making waves across Europe, from late-night sessions at Oven Club (Valencia), Butik Festival (Tolmin) and Club Bonfim (Genoa) to intimate rooms in Trieste, Tante Emma (Innsbruck) and beyond. On the decks, LaLa reads the crowd like an instrument: reacting, teasing, and turning parties into shared experiences. Off the decks, he anchors the band ‘Soft Fokus’ on bass, moving fluidly between live performance and club culture. A true polymath who always keeps the dance floor at heart.

maos originates from Hannover, where he first stepped behind the decks at the age of sixteen and quickly became part of the local scene. Now, almost two decades later, his passion for music still drives him.
After moving to the Ruhr area, he held several residencies — including at Studio in Essen — and continued to refine his sound. Musically, he has always stayed true to himself.
His sets flow seamlessly from minimal to house, evolving into driving, hypnotic journeys that capture the moment.
Anything can happen — nothing has to.
