I’ve always been a fairly straightforward artist. Save the frills for the work and not the posts. But I realized how much joy pets bring me and I figured why not let y’all see some of the great reference I get to view on the way to making these pieces. This is my dude Boneless, one of the greatest of all time.

That’s a wrap on Season 1 of Meet the Artist.

Somehow we managed to get nine episodes out of this chaos.

Working with the crew at Old Florida Electric has been an absolute blast. Incredible artists, even better people, and a shop with enough personality to make my job very easy.

Thank you to everyone at @oldfloridaelectrictattoo for letting me point cameras at you and document.

Follow @astralvisionsstudios for updates on Season 2, which is already shaping up to be just as much fun.

In the interim, enjoy these bloopers and go get tattooed at Old Florida Electric.

See you soon.

Meet the Artists — Episode 007
“OoOoOo… I Like Dem Shits..”

Some tattoos follow trends. The best ones follow you.

In this episode, the artists talk about the styles they’re most passionate about creating—and why the best tattoo you’ll ever get is the one that means something to you, not the one everyone else is getting.

Because when you’re wearing it for life, the only opinion that really matters is yours.

Meet the Artists: Ep. 006 — “Don’t Forget About Me.”

A great tattoo doesn’t end when you leave the shop.

In this episode, we talk about what happens after the session—from healing and aftercare to how your choices today affect how your tattoo looks years down the road. Because good tattoos aren’t just designed well… they’re cared for well.
