Bloodymary-tober Day 7: Isolation

Bloodymary-tober Day 5: Greenhouse

This one's a Simon fanart piece for the fanfic Rootbound written by tak_cajaz on ao3, which you should ABSOLUTELY read it is sooo so so good !!
I had quite a bit of fun with this one, it's rather out of my comfort zone but i got to experiment a lot and try new things in procreate. Slowly learning as I go :P
This was definitely a piece I could've kept working on for ages and ages but it's literally almost 5 am rn and I'm happy with where it's at✌🏼

Bloodymary-tober Day 3: Rings

The "Ring Theory" suggests that, in a crisis, we sit at the center of a set of social rings.
In that crisis, the people closest would fit in the first ring, while others fill the outer rings. The people in the inner rings can complain about the crisis to those in the outer rings. Those in the outer rings should offer only comfort and support to those in inner rings.

I wanted to think a bit outside of the box for this one and BOY did I

Bloodymary-tober Day 2: Blood

Blood, blood, gallons of the stuff! This one is super self indulgent, haha kinda funny cause of mindless self indulgence right? Idk what happened here, I had a TON OF FUN with this one despite it being a little too Simon centric..ewps

Bloodymary-tober Day 1: Celestial

And so we're off to the races!! Referenced the pose from rapidhighway on tumblr, got a lil inspired by jayvik from arcane.
Also imma need you guys to be nice as hell and imagine this mirrored cause otherwise their scars don't make sense. Could i have mirrored it? Yeahh. Would it have looked off? Yyyeah. I shit u not the first day would've been PERFECT for what I'm doing for the halloween zine, but I can't and shant spoil anything. So chew on that for the rest of the month lol. Could've worked on this more but I'm happy with where it's at.

Traditional art seemed to start liking me again. This spread was so fun to do! My mom got me a sketchbook and i immediately started it instead of finishing the literal last two pages of my current one. Something about a clean slate just makes me wanna draw

Accumulation of Simon drawings and doodles from recently. October is coming up and it's gonna be super busy! I'll be working on stuff for An Eridian Halloween Zine, gonna TRY and participate in the bloodymary-tober challenge, got a project with a friend going on as well as all the other things i wanna create.
I really reaally wanna get a full piece out cause ive got quite a handful of wips for them and they're cool pieces, i also just really wanna learn and practice colouring cause im rusty. Dont really have a colouring or rendering style so id like to experiment with it more. And just sketching in general i forgot how fun plain ol' sketching is🫡

#ironlung #simonironlung baby Si

In my #bloodymary notes from months ago I have the hc that when Simon starts his recovery he's absolutely fucking chopped💔
They had to shave his head in order to do surgery on his head, and I mean c'mon that man's covered in blisters and blood vines and freaky mutation stuff, missing a goddamn limb. I researched and wrote down some stuff about limb loss and the different healing stages the patient goes through, I'd definitely wanna draw some stuff for that too.

Grace would obviously have to help him relearn how to balance, walk and do basically everything again. I don't recall if this is realistic, but i could imagine Simon dropping weight during the months it takes for his wound to close up. Afterwards he starts rehabilitation therapy, eating a shit ton and working out so he gains weight back. In the meantime grows back his glorious mane and transform into super sexy hot guy❤️ full circle mic drop

I got these juicy ass black pens that make drawing such a treat

Idk if ill finish this but the idea is cool

So happy to announce I'll be working as an artist on the An-Eridian-Halloween fan zine! A halloween themed crossover between Iron Lung and Project Hail Mary🌟🩸

A little info:
This is gonna be a digital zine, and will be released (obviously) on October 31st! It'll be a 'pay what you want' type of deal for a month before it becomes free to download. All the money for the zine will be donated to the World Wildlife fund!

It'll be my first time participating in a zine and I'm STOKED!! I'm already having so much fun chatting it up with everyone involved, passing concepts around the table and seeing what everyone has planned! Big love to the brilliant minds behind organising this zine❤️
