Dined in a cave in Ostuni. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant, Osteria del Tempo Perso. Food reviews from our group were mixed, service was horrible and very rushed. Also, they’ve crammed too many tables into the cave, so it was very cramped and noisy. We were all quite happy to be done and gone, despite the great company. The proseccos & gelatos in the piazza were much better, and @geoffreyrowan found us a shortcut there. taken in Ostuni, Puglia, Italy by @spjawa

Watched people jumping from the cliffs into the azure waters. Steve and I were deeply disappointed that Jan & Diane didn’t try jumping. Had a nice lunch just above the famous Grotta Palazzese restaurant. Same view but much nicer service. taken in Polignano A Mare by @spjawa

A really hot day to climb up and down the millions of stairs in the oldest continuously occupied city in the world (Matera). But then we made up for it by dining on an exquisite terrace with a spectacular view overlooking the entire city. Great restaurant choice by @ds.spence ! taken in BV Qarsa Restaurant by @spjawa

Many thanks to @ilaria_derrico_weddingplanner for her recommendation to dine in this amazing restaurant’s garden. The company, the food, the ambiance, the great service, and the ability to go into the wine collection to select my preferred bottle all made for a memorable evening. Afterwards, we went for a walk around the historic center of Cisternino and had some very fine gelato before heading back to our Trulli. taken in IL CUCCO cucina enoteca by @spjawa
