⭐️ TONIGHT! September 7, 2026 • 7:00pm • @54below • We’re back in the basement for another round of 54 Below Sings @lin_manuel - featuring very special guest, @ephsykes of the original cast of @hamiltonmusical ! Once again, TikTok phenom @noahsimau_ 📱 has produced an awesome show, with Musical Direction by the wonderful @joshuaturchin 🎹 showcasing the range and musical dexterity of Lin-Manuel’s writing. We’re doing songs from Hamilton, Warriors, In The Heights, Moana, and more.

I’m proud to once again be joined by fellow @hamiltonmusical alumni @peterdguitar 🎸 and @ryanmccauslanddrums 🥁, so the rhythm section is as authentic as it gets outside the Richard Rodgers. AND - once again - I’ll be playing my @sadowskybasses 🐟 Will Lee signature Metroline - the actual Hamilton house electric bass from 2020–2024, and the instrument I started the show on!

The show is almost SOLD OUT, so I hope you can join us in the room where it happens! ⭐️ taken in 54 Below by @splankatang

Last post on this was in June 2022. As a gimmick, a fun high school electronics teacher helped me solder a low-E bass guitar string to my left wrist sometime in late 2001. These aren’t removable and usually take about 2 - 4 years to naturally break off. I’ve been replacing them for 25+ years now… ! 🤯 I used to solder them but after a few burns just use superglue now (duh). Not sure how many this one is… maybe #14 or so, idk. Like a wiggly tooth, it does feel auspicious when it finally breaks! Here’s the latest replacement. Out with the old, in with the new…

The last one broke off last Wednesday… a kinda heartbreaking day for me. Attached a new bracelet today at the end of this Mercury Retrograde. taken in Singapore American School by @splankatang

⭐️ MONDAY NIGHT! March 16, 2026 • 7:00pm AND 9:30pm • @54below • We’re back in the basement for another two rounds of 54 Below Sings @lin_manuel!

A really special note this time around: with the blessing of @lin_manuel himself, a portion of livestream sales will be donated to @nomaanyc - the organization directly selected by the Miranda Family Fellowship for this event.

I’m proud to once again be joined by fellow @hamiltonmusical alumni @peterdguitar 🎸 and @ryanmccauslanddrums 🥁, so the rhythm section is as authentic as it gets outside the Richard Rodgers. We’re now joined by @manueltrumpet on trumpet 🎺 and @belophone_music on percussion 🪘! AND - once again - I’ll be playing my @sadowskybasses 🐟 Will Lee signature Metroline - the actual Hamilton house electric bass from 2020–2024, and the instrument I started the show on!

Both shows are almost SOLD OUT, so I hope you can join us in the room where it happens - or on the livestream! ⭐️ taken in 54 Below by @splankatang

A few years ago I made a very cool arrangement of “Superstition” with a particularly rad outro. Be sure to watch til the end.

Let’s do more things like this.

Happy trails to the incredible @leslieodomjr at @hamiltonmusical tonight. These past 11 weeks have taken my experience with the show from “life-changing” to something even beyond that. I had the honor of playing 13 shows with Leslie during his return, and each one felt like a time capsule back to the early days of the work - especially during “The World Was Wide Enough,” which hit me in the chest every single time.

The emotion and presence he brought into the building every night was undeniable, and it lifted all of us. I’ll never forget this #HamilTen year, and I hope our paths cross again soon - whether at another gig or the local barbershop.

My performances with Leslie:
9/30 7pm, 10/1 1pm, 10/1 7pm, 10/2 7pm, 10/3 7pm, 10/19 1pm, 10/28 7pm, 10/29 7pm, 10/30 7pm, 11/1 1pm, 11/19 1pm, 11/20 7pm, 11/21 7pm

UNION STRONG! ✊🏽 Applause and deep thanks to the incredible, hardworking organizers of AFM Local 802, who fought like hell to defend the hard-won rights & livelihoods of Broadway musicians - standing firm against cuts to pay, hours, and healthcare, and ultimately averting a strike today. Proud to stand in solidarity with musicians, actors, and united workers of all stripes across NYC.
