Grateful and proud to have been a part of the amazing team responsible for creating @philwickham’s awesome new album “Song Of The Saints”! Huge thank you to Phil and @smith_jon for having me - getting to make music for the church along side my friends is my greatest joy and privilege. 🙏🏼 Tracks 11, 15, and 16 mixed by yours truly in stereo and Dolby Atmos. Vocal production and engineering on tracks 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14, 15, and 16 also by me. Big love to @smoffitt13 and @doug_weier for their awesome sounding mixes! Shout out and thank you to @jlaportamasters for mastering all of our hard work! 🙌🏼 by @splashofsoda
Extremely stoked and honored to have written a very special song with the homie @hiforrest called “Never Left My Side”! The song is on his brand new album, Child Of God, and it’s available everywhere today! Every once in a while you get one of those songs that feels like it was already hovering around the room before you even played the first chord, this was one of those songs. Big thank you to Forrest for having me and this song on the album, and to @brandon_breit for making things happen per usual! by @splashofsoda
Very excited, grateful, and proud to have mixed the new @jonasbrothers record “Live From The O2 London”! Big thank you to the incredible team behind the entire production, Jonas Brothers for entrusting me with these mixes, and @jflomusic for assisting me in getting this album across the finish line. Special thanks to longtime friend @poopmcgee for the call 🙏🏼 you are a legend! by @splashofsoda

Still trying to find the words. When we stepped away from My Favorite Highway 16 years ago, we had no idea we’d ever find ourselves on stage together again. We certainly couldn’t have imagined what happened last week. A sold-out show and a room full of voices singing every word. People traveling from all over the country. Familiar faces we hadn’t seen in nearly two decades, all coming together again. It honestly felt like we stepped into a time machine. Somewhere along the way, these songs became part of your lives, the soundtrack to your memories, and the years that shaped who you are. A lot of life has happened in between, but you kept the music alive. Last week, you gave the music back to us in the most incredible way. We’re more proud than ever of the songs we made all those years ago, and more grateful than we can express to everyone who has been part of this journey. Thank you for showing up, for singing your hearts out, and for making the reunion shows something we’ll never forget. Still… My Favorite Highway 📷: @tylerherrinton & @brandonsloter by @splashofsoda
Still... My Favorite Highway “Walking On A Wire” If you had the original release of How To Call A Bluff, this one’s for you. “Walking On A Wire” has always been our favorite of the deep cuts, and we couldn’t put together a reunion setlist without it. We’re playing two reunion shows in the DC area on October 22 and 24 at Jammin’ Java! The 24th is SOLD OUT, but tickets are still available for Thursday the 22nd at the link in bio. We can’t wait to see you there! P.S. For those wondering, the guitar is a @taylorguitars Gold Label 517e, and it’s been pretty hard to put down. by @splashofsoda
Still... My Favorite Highway “Getaway Car” Sat down at the piano this week to start rehearsing for our 20-year reunion shows. Had to start with this song. We’re playing two reunion shows in the DC area on October 22 and 24 at Jammin’ Java! The 24th is SOLD OUT—tickets are still available for the 22nd - link in bio. We can’t wait to see you there! by @splashofsoda

I don’t usually post these types of things, but I’ve also never won anything before – so I think it’s worth celebrating. Two weeks ago, I won my first Dove Award at the @gmadoveawards! I grew up watching the Dove Awards as a kid, so it feels surreal to be nominated as a producer for two different albums in the same category and take home a Dove! 🕊️ Awards and accolades are funny – there are so many talented people out there creating incredible music every day. We’re all hustling, trying to make a living, while also striving to honor our faith and our craft – making meaningful, inspiring music we believe the world needs to hear. At the end of the day, it’s just a trophy; it’s not the end goal in the infinite game. But when you’ve been doing this for two decades, receiving any kind of notable recognition feels like affirmation for all the hard work nobody else saw along the way. I don’t take any of that for granted. All that to say, it’s a massive honor to be part of this community of artists, producers, songwriters, engineers, and musicians making music that glorifies the one true God. It’s my greatest joy and privilege to do what I do—with the people I get to do it with—and ultimately for Whom we do it. 🙌🏼 Big thank you to @hiforrest for randomly showing up at my house to write a song with me last year, and for putting that song on your album. What an incredible journey, and an awesome, memorable night shared with my beautiful, supportive wife and wonderful friends. 🙏🏼 by @splashofsoda
