So, having just rewatched Ghost (1990), the superb Patrick Swazye classic. I can't help but feel the tendrils of the Madella effect at work.

So, Whoopi Goldberg is amazing. Demi Moore is soooo good. Patrick Swazye effortlessly carries the entire weight of the movie's emotional story on his shoulders. Wonderful stuff.

However, Sam, the titular Ghost, coerces Oda into stealing $4 million dollars (of albeit already stolen money), harrases and essentialy stalks his grieving former girlfriend from beyond the grave, *and* his spooky shenanigans are directly responsible for two people's death. And *spoilers* still goes to heaven...

I didn't cry, thoroughly enjoyed it after all these years, but am left conflicted from the mixed moral messages...
