Usually it consists of bright colors and bold patterns- often a mixture of vintage and modern. It’s also not uncommon for me to create a look that mimics a space. I love being in unfamiliar places because there’s more opportunity to explore. 👀 This interactive Installation called ‘Unzipped’ was designed by Bjarke Ingels and made it on my “must see” list when I was working out of Toronto. It did not disappoint. 🤩 taken in Toronto, Ontario by @splendid_rags

I recently unwrapped some of my older works. It’s pretty interesting to see some of the visual changes I’ve made over the years. This particular piece was one of my very first ones. I painted this in 2021 right after covid and some big life changes. I was focused on “new beginnings”. It’s been fun reminiscing over these older pieces. I’m hoping to share more of my work. Everything will be made available for purchase very soon, but in the meantime DM if you’re interested.

Come with me to Laguna Beach to shoot then soup a roll of palm trees. These turned out so fun!! 🌴 I started souping my film a few years ago as a way to get inspiration. The element of surprise with how each roll turns out is such a thrill - I’m obsessed with the process.

*IMPORTANT, do not get your film developed WITHOUT disclosing the rolls have been souped. Most places won’t accept #filmsoup because it could destroy their machines. Here are two safe places I have used and recommend, @filmlab135 and @bluemooncamera. This particular batch was developed by @filmlab135.

This once was a very large piece I created in 2022. I didn’t care for how it turned out - funny how that happens - so I recently took it all apart and reworked it into a smaller more energetic piece I call, “Cherry Chapstick”.

👁️ 🍬 … If you’ve been following me for awhile you know I love color. I’ve spent the last year or so working with vibrant hues because it never gets boring - but I have to say, I am also looking forward to changing it up and working in a neutral color palette in the near future.

I spent a lot of time in Laguna Beach this summer and naturally was drawn to working in this vibrant blue palette. Something about the salt air and waves that makes me feel rejuvenated. These works were completed in August and this is my attempt to start sharing more of what I’ve been up to in the studio.

This was a summer for the books! I’m so proud of my dad who was juried into the @festivalpageant in Laguna Beach for his photography. It’s a very BIG accomplishment and it’s even more special because my grandfather was a Festival Artist back in the 70’s. Grateful to have met so many new friends and be surrounded by so much inspiration this summer. Way to go dad!! @carey__schneider
