POSTS STORIES REELS

Our debut album, Be The Divine, releases today. This record represents 2+ years of us as a band collaborating and working together to create a sound we've been chasing, and we're so excited for y'all to hear it. I spent so much time mixing this record, tweaking sounds, overdubbing guitars, recording so many vocal takes, and assembling the liner notes that I feel like a part of myself is forever buried inside this piece.

There's so many people to thank for this work coming to fruition, Al Daglis for recording us across 3 different sessions months apart. @joelhatstat for mastering this album with the caring hand only a girl dad could provide. @kaia_tf for being an invaluable creative mentor and source of inspiration. Sean and Mo from @skeletallightning for taking us on, and making our dreams come true. And lastly, Will and Lucia for being two of the first people who reached out when I put out the first Split Silk EP and volunteered to play with me when I was ready. They're better than the best bandmates I could've asked for and are even greater friends and I treasure our friendship so much, and this album is the fruit of that.

I sincerly hope you enjoy listening, and if you feel inclined, purchasing the album either physically or digitally to show us some support. I never imagined this day would come, and it took so long to get here, but I'm so excited to introduce y'all to Be the Divine. We'll have all our new merch and CDs at our release show on 10/23 at Eyedrum. We'll see you there, but for now we're just gonna chill and enjoy the moment 💖💖💖

Swipe thru for a look at the album, our new merch and stickers and some fun throwbacks from over the time we've been together.

XOXO Lucca ✨✨✨ by @split.silk

Be The Divine comes out 9/18, and a month later on 10/23 we'll have our album release show and celebration. We'll play the entire album cover to cover with some special surprises too. 🎀

This album means a lot to us and we wanted to honor it with some of our favorite bands in town at our favorite venue in town. ✨

We can't wait to see you there and celebrate and be gay and cute together! 💖 by @split.silk

Be The Divine, our debut album, comes out on September, 18th courtesy of Skeletal Lightning. 🌺🎀🌷✨💖

It will be available on CDs which you can pre-order now and also order this really cool t-shirt designed by our goat @newjunkaesthetic

Be the Divine is 11 songs of sadgirl, noisy, technicolor post-hardcore. The title is a mission statement but it's also a reminder. We can take back control from our oppressors, and create a new world where we can be as powerful as the goddesses of myth. Make our kingdoms in the margins, and defend them with love and grace. We can build a new world where we can be the divine.

There are a lot of people to thank but right now we wanna shout out @eroscestlavie for taking these lovely pictures of us, @lillianmweber for writing these amazing words about us, and Sean and Mo from @skeletallightning for believing in us. Also special thanks to @kaia_tf for helping us find our home for this record, and giving us guidance. Also big shout out to the ppl who got these videos of us over the years, we're gonna tag them in the comments 💖💖💖

This record has been a long time coming and I can't believe it's finally real. We love you so much, and this is just the beginning. ✨✨✨

Yardwork futch Lucca announcements!!!

The Split Silk album release celebration is next Friday October 23rd!! This is *the big one* and it would mean more than anything else in the world to me to see my loved ones and friends there. If you've been wanting for the perfect chance to see us, this is the time! Eyedrum is super accessible, the show starts early, and there's parking!

This project means the world to me and is the first band I've ever truly felt the most ownership of in my 15+ years playing music. It's the band I always wanted to be in! And the fact we can play a show like this with all our favorite bands in town is so cool and we'd love to pack it out and have a gay old time with me and my bbs.
