Every so often someone tells me, “I found a puppy cheaper.”

And I always respond the same way, kindly and honestly:

Because I’ve learned that the families meant for my puppies don’t choose based on the lowest number—they choose based on trust.

A puppy from me is never just a transaction. It’s the result of years of learning, loving, making mistakes, growing, and always trying to do better than the last time.

My cousin asked me to make a video about raising puppies that she could share with her homeschool group. I wasn’t really sure exactly how to go about it, but I put a few things together mostly from this weeks work. I thought after I put the work into making it, that I could share it here too.

The real message that I want to come across is that don’t ever judge your life by what is going on right now. You and God can make so much more out of your life. Never hesitate to reach for the stars and continue learning and growing. If you would have told me 10 years ago that I would be running my own business and that it would have to do with raising puppies, I would have never believed you! That girl did not feel capable of anything that I’m doing now. I have become so much more than I ever thought possible. I am so proud of the knowledge and growth that I have had. The road isn’t always smooth, but the good outweighs the bad and it’s definitely worth it!

Cookie’s family came today to take her home. She is all done nursing her babies and was so happy to see her family. They took time to visit with Cookie’s pups and share why each one of Cookie’s pups are their favorite.
