2 incredible years, and we’re just getting started ✨

Spokane Impact FC is a soccer team for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), creating an opportunity for players to compete, build connections, and share their love of the game. 💫

In their first season as a team in 2025, Spokane Impact FC captured the Inspire Soccer League Championship 🏆, and they’re continuing that momentum this season, remaining UNDEFEATED while making an impact both on and off the field! 💙👏

This. This is what we all hope for.

As special education teachers, we spend years celebrating our students the milestones, the growth, the independence, and all the little wins.

But eventually, they leave us.

And I think one of our biggest hopes is that they find people who keep cheering just as loudly.

Watching the athletes at @inspiresoccerleague be celebrated, supported, and surrounded by a community that sees exactly what they bring to the world was something special. ⚽️

Our students may age out of school, but they should NEVER age out of being celebrated.

May every person with a disability find their people. Their team. Their community. The ones who keep showing up and cheering LOUD. by @spokaneimpactfc
