While we all might have our thoughts on what could’ve been better, I’d rather focus on what I appreciated most: so many like-minded, creative, BLACK people in the same place at the same time ✊🏾

I’ll always be grateful for spaces that bring us together, spark new connections, and introduce me to people I probably wouldn’t have crossed paths with otherwise. 🤝🏾

note to self: i should’ve took more pics with my friends! 🥲 create the memories while you have the chance by @spongito

Man I really been soaking this one in!
.
Last Tuesday had the pleasure of being invited to @kirkfranklin ‘s album listening event with @uptownrecords 🔥
.
The new music is incredible and was a crazy feeling to get to show Kirk how Yal react to his music in the club😂.
.
Big thank you to my brother @spongito for coming with me and capturing these moments man. I cried the whole time 😂 by @spongito

5 years of Gyalifest Labor Day. ❤️

Thank you to every single person who trusted us with their Labor Day weekend, pulled up, brought the energy and celebrated with us.

These events don’t happen without your continued support and the energy you all bring that make it such a great time, everytime! 🤸🏾‍♀️

We’ll continue creating spaces where our culture can be celebrated, our people can come together, and everybody can simply have a damn good time.

Thank you for making the 5th Annual Gyalifest Labor Day Fête one to remember 🫡✨
