Let's chat about my ⭐️ ratings!
It is so hard for a book to get a 5⭐️ rating from me. The first time I read a book that made me want to tell everyone in my life about it, I was shook and said "OH. THAT'S A 5⭐️"
I can love a book and give it a 4⭐️
5⭐️ is earth shaking, tummy-turning, and it will stick in my memory forever. (I read so many books I usually only remember them if they're super good, or, really bad).
A 3 or 4 star means I still liked or loved the book. 2 stars I didn't DNF, I pushed through it.
1 star DNF, you'll never know I started it. taken in Lexington, Kentucky by @spooky.reader846

Book # 1 of our Massachusetts trip! We are officially on our way to Worcester for Silver Scream Con V and a day in Salem.

15hr from KY------->MA. I hope the 4 books I brought will be enough until I can do some shopping in Salem tomorrow! 🤣

My spooky friends who have been to Salem, what is one thing I can't miss?

🍂HAPPY FALL Y'ALL!

Finally! Walked out the house this morning and was met with cool temps and a chilly breeze. It is my Seasonnnnnn.

Y'all know I'm always in spooky season but for those who only get excited around the -ber months, here's a spooky season rec post to add these to your tbr immediately.

Y'all already know my #1 so far of 2026 is on here, @thenewdumas Nothing Tastes As Good (this man is gonna get tired of me).

Read It. So maybe I can stop screaming about it.

How to Fake a Haunting by Christa Carmen was equal parts disturbing and hilarious! Loved it!!

Ah yes, sacrificing the one for the greater good always goes well. 😆 I loved the ending!

Fmc drove me nuts. Read this book so we can yell at her together.

Yay nostalgia. Yes I was born in the late 90s, we won't talk about it. taken in Lexington, Kentucky by @spooky.reader846

🌞 Happy Sunday! As my husband and I head up to Cincy Street Meet (he's a photographer) I wanted to show everyone the pile of books I've purchased (not including library loans) despite my never ending tbr.

Swipe right to see the boys "helping" me get this shot. 😆🫠

What's your Sunday read? I'm finishing The Housewife by Natalie Barelli, 4.5⭐️
Who's watching football? 🏈

📚Book #1 of today's Read-a-thon is @catnassidy I Know a Place. Now that I've finished my September tbr we'll see how many books I can read total!

📚Currently at 145 books read. Goal for 2026 is 150. Last year read 204.

☕️Might be running to the Human Bean to refuel for the next book!

Oh what a dangerous place for me to be. 💳

Anyone else get far too close to the bookstore on Saturdays?
...weekends?
.....everyday? 🤣

But my new @bnfayettemallky had Kiss Slay Replay by the brilliant @rachelharrisonsghost and a paperback copy of She's a Doll! by @barbarartruelove so I had to snatch them both.
Much to the despair of my wallet 📚

I know some of my book babes here have read both of these, tell me your thoughts in the comments!

Running on white chocolate mochas and my current read while dealing with bs at work no grown adult should have to manage, battling a horrid UTI, and preparing for @silverscreamcon

Has anyone else read Last Night Was Killer by Mary Pauline Lowry? A funny, fast-paced story of a single mom recovering from grief, the collapse of her career, and raising twins, while trying to solve a murder!

What are you reading? Who else is ready for the weekend?

🎃 Current Read:
What Will People Think by Sara Hamdan

On my September tbr is this cozy exploration of self discovery (and the fall colors on the cover are beautiful!)

Pg 1-50 read so far. Really enjoying it.

Has anyone read this one yet?

📚Self-care Sunday really hitting today.
I am unfortunately fighting one hell of a UTI so I've tried to take it easy with my tbr pile and Sunday football.

🏈Might have to make a trip to Indianapolis, I have some thoughts 🤔 😅

🦇wfh tomorrow to try and move as little as possible before my nail appointment. Gotta refresh the claws.

What did you read today? What NFL team are you cheering on?
