💐Happy Birthday to our Little Rose🌹✨

A few days ago, our little sister Róisín turned 4-years old.🎈 Given that we tend to think of her as an eternal infant this came as quite a shock, but we reined in our sense of disbelief the best we could and gave her a great day, full of kitty cake, chasing laser pointer dots, snuggling (but only when SHE wanted to), and even meeting a new dolly who looks a lot like her.💙💜

Photos from her special day are shown here, as well as some other favourite images of her, including her completely enveloped in a paper bag and her proudly posing in front of the cat tree whose sisal legs she single-pawedly demolished.

💜A little while ago, the special kitty Monty @monty_happiness moved on from this physical world and returned to his heavenly home.🐱👼
We’ve followed him for a while and wanted to draw a little picture based on one of our favourite photos of him.
He was born with special needs and had a lot of health issues, but he lived a long and happy life thanks to his devoted human mother.

Monty was a little angel of a kitty while he was here, and is a literal angel now. Even though we’ll really miss seeing his fuzzy little face, we know he more than fulfilled his life’s mission to spread happiness.💜🌈💜

🎉Today was a special day for Echo the Gecko—it’s the day she came home!🦎💚

Ever since she arrived as the first ever reptile pet in our house, she hasn’t stopped amazing us with her sticky feet, lack of blinking, and incredible gymnastics/ flexibility.

Although she is small, she has an opinionated personality, making it very clear when she’d like to come out of her enclosure to explore, and she has been impressively fearless in the face of 3 mysterious furry animals.
She sure is a unique sibling, and we’re all happy to have her! 🐶🐱🐱🦎

🎈 Happy Birthday to Penny!🤍🐶

A couple days ago, our beloved big sister celebrated her 12th birthday!😲 We can’t believe how she’s growing up, but even so, she acts just as youthful: gentle and sensitive, but always (well, often) eager to play!

🎂Penny had a great day going out for her walks, having some new treats and presents, and chewing on her toys.

Róisín and I are very grateful for our big sister: she always looks out for us and happily gives us kisses—no matter how much I, as the naughty little brother, may occasionally poke her. 😼

Everyone loves Penny—and her signature little underbite! 🐶👅💕

🎊Happy Birthday to meee! 🥳🐱

The other day I turned 6! Like any parent, Mommy felt so proud and said I’m growing up, but I was too busy eating, playing, and overall being even more pampered than usual to think about that.🎂 🎁

These clips from my special day include me enjoying a luxurious cat cake, having fun outside, and playing with a new toy as baby Róisín played with its wrapper. What a silly child…

The last is me rolling around as my sisters stared at me—I must have just been so excited about my toy (which contained silvervine), that I ended up being a silly child too, and became surprisingly affectionate with that same wrapper. 🫣
This COULD have been embarrassing, but in this case it just shows off how happy I was on my birthday!

☘️It was St. Patrick’s Day once more!🇮🇪

In this special day, we had a great time playing, frolicking with faeries, and moving while Mommy tried to photograph us. I agreed to wear matching green kerchiefs with Penny, and speaking of faeries, Róisín thought she saw one in our fairytale book! ✨I stepped in to take a closer look, and though it appeared to be an illustration, I’m pretty sure it winked at me… 😟👀

Oh, and Echo wishes everyone a Happy St. Patrick’s Day as well, and enjoyed herself celebrating it for the first time with her family. 🦎💚

Happy Women’s Day from these THREE funny little females! 💕🐶🐱🦎

The past couple years on this day, Mommy has made a post celebrating my big sister Penny and little sister Róisín, and this year—our first with Echo—she made sure our tiny lizard girl was included too!

Penny and Róisín are quite close; they are in solidarity against me pouncing on them and eating their fur, and sometimes Baby Róisín will rub herself up against Penny. For a slightly temperamental, often in-her-own-world child like my little sister, this is a very meaningful act.

Echo is kind of in her own world too (her tank!), but she can be very observant and feisty, often enjoying time out of her enclosure…with us other pets waiting outside the door for her. 👀 👀 👀

For a gecko whose species comes from a tropical island, Echo certainly enjoyed the Christmas season, and especially her tiny Christmas tree! 🦎🎄

Mommy thought this Charlie Brown tree decoration was the perfect size for little Echo, who immediately assumed it was a new climbing structure for her, including her mini stocking.❤️ She loves it so much, we still have it up in her room.
We’re happy Echo enjoyed her first Christmas with her forever family, even though us cats had very limited interaction with the little reptilian…which Echo no doubt was grateful for!

✨Merry Christmas from the Pets!🎄

Here are some moments of our celebrations, mostly us receiving our presents and admiring the Christmas tree—which I munched on as usual. 😼

One of our presents was a silly snake with a moustache, wrapped up in the shiny package I’m staring intently at in the 6th picture. I was sniffing at it, eager to play, but then I was startled by Penny coming over and being surprisingly bold; she grabbed it and ran away! 😱 (Even though she already had her own squeaky gingerbread plushy…)

Finally, sticky little Echo enjoyed her presents too. 💖 As seen in the last photo, she had a tasty Christmas meal: a cricket! 🤢

🦎🎃Echo knows that around this time it would be more appropriate to be preparing for Christmas…but like a true little familiar, she refuses to leave Halloween just yet!
That AND Mommy realised she didn’t show our pumpkin this year! 😱 To welcome the newest arrival, she made it Echo-themed! 💚 The carved-out lizard came out all in one piece, and Echo was eager to share the pictures of her meeting her pumpkin counterpart.
Now that this has been done, she is excited to start preparing for her first Christmas with her family.🦎❄️

🎃 Our Spooky Halloween! 🐈‍⬛

Here are some of our celebrations that night—I was quite cooperative for Mommy taking pictures.
Penny and I were tolerant of our costumes, but as for Róisín, it wasn’t even attempted to put a costume on that temperamental little child! 😦 Don’t worry, she was still around, glaring at everybody from the top of the stairs, as she loves to do. 👁️ 👁️
In addition to the annual pumpkins, we also decided to imitate our ancestors and carve a jack-o’-lantern as they would have originally been done. Oddly the grocery store didn’t seem to have any turnips at the moment (how unforgivable…), but the result was very similar with a potato!

People have said it looks a bit horrifying.

Another one of the best days of the year has come and gone… but not to worry, the dark season of the year has just begun! 🖤😈✨
