Dearest Darlings of the Dark,

Two dispatches from Lady Nightingale in a single day? How extra! But then, you are far too splendid to be kept waiting.

Here are a few tantalizing details for the night ahead:

🥒 A Sneak Peek at the Feast: A reliable source has slipped me the menu (and a few delicious photos): Cucumber Boursin Bites, Bacon-wrapped Stuffed Dates, Tea Sandwiches, and decadent Dessert Platter. All from Goodness to Go!

👑 Royal Honors: His Majesty will be scouting the most dazzlingly dressed—or delightfully wicked—to crown this season’s Black Rose and Black Diamond (with rumored prizes to match).

🤫 The Court Rumor: Someone has been in quite a haste these past few nights, slipping through the darkened halls... and, goodness, what an outrageous racket they made. 🫢 Tomorrow night, you will have the chance to mingle with all the Court members, trade whispers about who is tangled in this secret affair, and try to deduce who has been keeping the palace awake. This spirit has heard there are two ways to join us at Sassquerade… and Lady Nightingale is here to make sure you know exactly what awaits you.

🕗 8 PM — The Full Sassquerade Experience
Arrive at 8 PM for the full evening of haunted revelry, including live jazz, vendors, food, two drink vouchers, and dancing with our DJs late into the night.

🕚 11 PM — The DJ Experience
Prefer to make your entrance fashionably late? The 11 PM ticket is DJ-only. Jazz, vendors, food, and drink vouchers are not included—by 11 PM, our vendors will be packed away and food service will have ended. The bar will remain open until the event ends.

🥀 KAHES PRESENTS: THE SASSQUERADE AT SASSY ANN’S 🥀

A Haunted Masquerade Ball

Dearest Darlings of the Dark,

On Friday, October 9th, Knoxville’s most beguiling souls shall descend upon Sassy Ann’s for an evening of masks, merriment, and just the right amount of scandal.

Invitations to the season’s most haunting affair shall be released to the ton this very evening. Secure yours before the guest list becomes our first scandal.

Her Majesty herself shall preside, and this spirit hears she will be watching closely for this season’s coveted Black Rose.

🥀 This time, our rose blooms after dark.

At 8 PM, begin your evening with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live jazz while the Queen’s favored haunted vendors fill the house with curious wares, peculiar treasures, and delightful oddities to peruse.

Their identities remain a matter of courtly secrecy for now. Each shall be regally announced soon.

At 11 PM, our DJs take over, the cocktails continue to flow, and the masked revelry carries well into the night.

Masquerade masks are required. When the veil grows thin, one would be wise to conceal one’s identity.

For an additional donation to KAHES, you may request a proper introduction to Her Majesty’s court. Upon your arrival, our court announcer shall proclaim your entrance with all the pomp, pageantry, and entirely unnecessary exaggeration your station demands.

Whether you arrive as The Most Esteemed Duchess of the Damned, Keeper of Three Curses and Breaker of Hearts or His Lordship, Baron of the Blood Moon, Scourge of the Living and Notorious Disgrace of Knoxville—well, darling, subtlety has never made the society papers.

Dress accordingly, my darling haunted souls. The night favors the wickedly well-dressed.
