I’ve always wanted one after I sold the supra. Money would fluctuate all the time and I’d have to make big boy decisions. … buy a house . Have a baby . Pay the hospital . Repair household things . Pay for. Parent things day care , nanny etc . I always told myself the price of these cars will depreciate to where it’ll be more manageable but instead they keep going up . I think I’ve joked and talked about a 911 turbo with everyone so long even my wife and my kids questioned if it was mine or if I was lying because anything expensive like this I’ve I my had to fix or work on for customers . Even before going to the dealer I thought to myself. “ I’ve had a lot of fast cars , is a 500 hp Porsche going to do it for me ? Is it fun or powerful enough to tickle the senses ?” . After the first test drive I remembered why this car does it for me . The turbo whistle . The instant torque . The handling and stability . The ease of getting in and simplicity of the controls . This car has slipped my fingers for over 12 years. There’s been so many times I’ve sat in the dark in the room staring at the walls . Wiped away tears mid way working. Broke down in the silence of the shop in the early mornings. Endless amounts of stress , anxiety, self doubt , guilt . Guilt ? To buy something so extravagant before I’ve provided for my own family is unacceptable . My family comes first , material things last . I recognize that once you’ve experienced things. It’s hard to go back to “ lesser “ things. Because progression and earning comes so slow for me in this trade , I too allow my “ tax bracket “ material purchases to follow along the same rhythm . When it comes to money I’ve held onto the idea “ fast come fast go “. I felt that if the money came easy, you would respect the grind less and you place less value on what you had . So for me to have this for myself is monumental. I know The days and nights and weekends I had to push through to achieve this . So many customers picked up their 911’s say “ just get one, you got the money stop lying “. As the small voice says in my head “ I don’t and I can’t “ . Today, I did and I can . #spoolin997tt by @spoolinphil

Through every moment, you ask yourself why you do this to yourself.

The stress of finding a solution to every problem. Making, testing, adjusting, and double-checking every little detail.

But the best part is always the sense of accomplishment at the end—the moment everything finally works, and every decision you made along the way is confirmed to have been the right one. #spoolingarage #spoolinphil #spoolinperformance #norcalsupras #twinturbo2jzgte by @spoolinphil
