Honeymoon in June 2026. We spent 2 days in Iceland hanging out in Reykjavík, a few days in Vilnius, and then a 21 hour layover in Amsterdam on our way home.

We had a great time! Drank under the midnight sun, saw lots of cats, drank lots of beer in many different bars. I checked out a hot spring in Iceland which was so lovely. Take me back! We loved walking the old town in Vilnius and staying up late. I would go back to Amsterdam, it was beautiful despite the rain. by @spoonifur

I met Ian on Christmas in 2019 in a bar. Well, recently we got married! We did a small family ceremony at Toronto City Hall and then danced and partied our hearts out at @houndstoothto

It was a wonderful weekend full of friends. Thanks to @ryanbroughweddings for the amazing photos and @scissormoondoeshair for my hair. We had performances by @sparseparts and @the.dorkies as well as @iamkare_dj for closing out the night.

It was so nice to be in a room full of love and family and knowing I have Ian by my side forever is pretty wonderful too. by @spoonifur

CPA Ontario Convocation 2025.
Show designed by me! Very proud of the screen covers to make our 56' wide frameless screens look slightly rounded, the strip drape canopy, and our stage barrier made from AV Drop to hide all our gear. Bespoke has purchased a ton of AV drop pieces and I've been learning all about it. by @spoonifur

I so rarely post anymore but I wanted to share some of what I was up to this last year. At the very end of 2023 I was promoted at my full time gig, I switched over from being a production coordinator to being a full time designer. I still keep up with my occasional side projects because I love live music. I went to Lithuania with my family in May and big trips cost big money. Sounds cheesy but I'm really grateful to the venues that will have me on such occasional gigs. (If you're trying to do the same thing, it's helpful to be flexible and fill in for people at a moment's notice!) Not helpful: Breaking your wrist, I said no to a lot of work for months and it was a little heart breaking but my health has to be number 1. (Shout out to the show I did before I realized my wrist was broken. It hurt)

Starting the year off with @houndstoothto for New Years. I have all the love in the world for this place. New or established musicians have a home here. We have so much fun and I've met so many amazing people here. Shout out to @nicandthenarcs and @bandcalledmax for putting on killer shows there despite being actual total rockstars.

When I get called to Lee's Palace it is most often a metal night, with the occasional drag show or two. There was a night there where @bloodoperainc and Tragedy: All metal Bee Gees band played and it was absolutely the best night I've had working there. Extremely talented musicians and amazing stage presence.

The Opera House is home to some of the best house techs on the biz, I'm always welcomed there. Worked Skofka (from Ukraine), Trans Canada Highwaymen JJ Wilde and Krampus Ball this year, to name just a few.

Last but certainly not least I worked Keith Urban at the Horseshoe Tavern! I'm their default lighting tech, when it's actually requested which isn't often. Regardless I love working there! Such nice staff. Keith Urban was a fun big show, great crew, great music despite not being my usual scene. Photo credit to @thevinylvagabond all my photos are terrible, it was exceptionally packed in there!

All this to say, I'm still doing this thing after clocking out. taken in Toronto, Ontario by @spoonifur

My friend Stephanie took this photo of me about to have some cake! 32 years old and I'm doing alright. It's been a wild few years but things have been pretty alright lately. Except the wrist, and that could have been worse! by @spoonifur

Cherry blossom season is beautiful. You have to find the humour in hundreds of people flocking to the park to take selfies, the multiple food vendors trying to make a buck, the police presence! It's a lot. Today was cloudy, but I think it makes for some nice photos anyway.

I shot these with a Canon Eos R6 which I never get the chance to play with. Nice lens and nice results, can't complain! taken in High Park Cherry Blossoms by @spoonifur

It was a cloudy windy day, but I decided to check out the cherry blossoms anyway. Lots of smile and laughter despite the weather, and only a handful of people holding onto the trees. I told a few people to not touch them, they looked surprised. I think people see each other doing it and it gives them permission to do it, like lots of things in life... Anyway. Look, don't touch! #cherryblossom #toronto #highparkcherryblossoms taken in High Park Cherry Blossoms by @spoonifur

I had the privilege of doing lighting for the wonderful @transcanadahighwaymen when they were at The Opera House recently. Everyone was so nice and it really was such a a sweet Canadian show. So much talent on stage, and the crowd absolutely loved it. I don't get to do the fun stuff as often anymore, but this was a night to remember! Was fun to see Brian McCullough introduce the guys too! #lightingdesign #concertlighting taken in The Opera House by @spoonifur

When @shrewd.band played at @houndstoothto and it was awesome.

I still don't know how to use this camera or edit these photos. Whatever photography skills I had are thoroughly rusty. by @spoonifur
