You never know what’s waiting until you show up.

This week, I made the last-minute drive to Inman Luxury Connect in San Diego after Kaminsky Real Estate Group was recognized as one of the top luxury real estate teams in the country. The recognition is humbling. What matters more is the thousands of clients who have trusted us and the team that continues to show up every day with the same drive and standard.

At gatherings like these, there’s always that one conversation—the unexpected connection you only find when you’re in the room. You never know what opportunities pass by when you decide not to go.

Grateful for the recognition, the clients who believe in what we do, and the team that makes it possible. Excited to bring the energy back home.

Most listings get an open house.
We wanted this one to feel like a cultural moment.

2976 Via Alvarado feels like Nantucket dropped onto the California coast—so instead of marketing it conventionally, we built an experience around the home itself.

In just one week we brought together:

• 150+ guests
• Earned media coverage through Our South Bay
• Print placements in Beach Reporter + Palos Verdes Peninsula News
• Thousands reached online

All centered around one idea: if a home is truly special, market it in a way people won’t forget.

So we hosted A Taste of New England—a private clambake inspired by the architecture, the setting, and the story behind the property.

Watching neighbors meet each other, buyers explore the home, and people genuinely enjoy the experience reminded me that real estate can be far more creative than people expect.

And on a personal note—

This was one of the first real examples of what Ed Kaminsky and I are building together.

Different generations. Different perspectives. Same obsession with doing things at a higher level.

This partnership is only getting started—and if this event was any indication, we’re going to make some real noise.

Legends After Dark is an exclusive night of sushi and whiskey with NFL Legends, designed to balance respectful player access, premium nightlife energy, and meaningful community impact.

Hosted by Jeff Garcia, with additional former NFL players in attendance, this multi-phase NFL Alumni experience features a private mixer, curated main event, VIP tables and sponsorship activations, and a live memorabilia auction — all set in the heart of downtown San Jose.

Guests will enjoy hosted sushi bites, passed hors d’oeuvres, and a hosted bar during designated portions of the evening.

A portion of proceeds will directly support vetted San Jose-based nonprofit organizations, including Hunger at Home, along with additional local charities focused on youth development, family services, veteran support, and underserved communities.
