Donner Hard Enduro was definitely one for the books. ❤️ Story time: Dustin was one of the first 10 riders through Spectator Hill on his first lap. After making it up the slab, he pulled off and came back around. At first, I thought he was hurt or needed water, but instead he got down on one knee in the most perfect and surprising way (about the only way he could actually surprise me) After he asked, my immediate response was, “Yes, but you need to get back out there, you’re doing really good!” 😂 But he wouldn’t. We spent the next two hours celebrating, calling family and getting all the BTS details of everything he went through to plan it. Hearing the cheers from the crowd and getting to talk about it with so many different people throughout the rest of the day made it even more special. I came to capture photos (sorry to everyone I missed!), but the day turned into so much more than that. Donner will always hold a special place in our hearts and will forever be a staple on our race schedule. ❤️🏁 taken in Donner Ski Ranch by @spot.on.media

Hermosa Beach Open 🔥 What a pleasure it is to play on the home beach, and compete another year on @hermosabeachvbopen ! Body didn’t feel right for the last two events but not everything is about winning. Taking a look back and seeing where I am, still healthy enough to compete with everyone out there, with best players in the country over and over is truly amazing. It’s nice to have goals but sometimes we should enjoy the moment and be grateful for the opportunities we have. Somone would give everything to have what we sometimes take for granted.
