Curtain up! Light the lights! The Jimmy Awards are on tonight✨Our Outstanding Lead Performer winners have spent the past 10 days in NYC competing and rehearsing at The Jimmy Awards! From dance masterclasses and coaching session to exploring the city and creating friendships, we couldn’t be prouder of all the hard work they have put in. We can’t wait to see Kaydence and Ronember take the Minskoff stage! From Nashville to NYC, we are sending them all of our love and support. It’s time for a Spotlight Alumni Appreciation Post✨We’ve been in our feels all week celebrating our Spotlight Society! This year, we had our alumni involved in several aspects of the program. From alumni hosts, ceremony opening number, event helpers, and all the roles in-between, we cannot thank you enough for your hard work and dedication this year!Last night, we had new and returning alumni join us for our annual Razzle Dazz’ALUM event! We chatted, snacked, and laughed until we cried, of course! Have you ever wanted to stay connected to the Spotlight community after high school? Well, now is your chance to join our ✨Spotlight Society✨ This is a wonderful opportunity for students to continue their engagement with our program and the arts community even after graduation. We enjoy getting to know you, hearing about your projects, and having you back at TPAC volunteering through the year. Spotlight Society members will enjoy many of the perks of participating schools, including discounts to performances and invitations to Master Classes. Additionally, special events will be created specifically for our Alumni during the year as well including a Reunion event every May, Razzle DazzALUM, and our Spotlight SINGS! You can sign up today by using the link in our bio✨Solace, has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry through her work across stage, screen, commercial projects, and live performances. Solace has toured internationally as both a dancer and stunt performer, gained national recognition as a Top 10 Finalist on So You Think You Can Dance Season 15, and alongside her mother Karynn Hough earned an Emmy Award for their standout work on Fink’s Jewelry’s “Make You Dance” campaign. As a dancer and choreographer, Solace has performed with artists such as Taylor Swift, Mary J. Blige, Dolly Parton, Pitbull, Florida Georgia Line, and so many more for award shows, live performances, music videos & movies. Time to announce our Applause Awards! These prestigious honors go beyond our usual categories, shining a spotlight on extraordinary achievements that deserve their own moment of recognition. Check out the details below!👏Father Ryan High School with their exciting collaboration with the Nashville Puppet Truck.👏Hillsboro High School for the whopping forty-five wigs they created for their show.👏John Overton High School for putting together a multi-disciplinary school project for their set build.👏Liberty Creek High School for the coolest entrance… from a coffin!👏Lincoln County High School created partnerships and presented history during their production of Newsies.👏Nashville Christian School found that the use of sodium lamps to create a sepia effect in a theatrical production has never been done before they used it in their Wizard of Oz. They hope to get it published for this achievement!👏Siegel High School’s students created several creative staging moments in their performance of Hadestown.👏Station Camp High School for their inventive Minotaur puppet in The Lightning Thief.👏Summit High School also created magic with an original Sven puppet in Frozen.👏Wilson Central High School integrated shadow puppetry and performance into their production of the fantastical show Big Fish.What an inspiring group of recipients—let’s show some love in the comments for our Applause Award honorees! by @spotlightawards
