Now that the event has come and gone, I feel like I can share the BTS of how Dave constructed our moon! Swipe to see the creation process, which took place mostly in our garage.
We searched all summer for the perfect bench to build the moon around, and wouldn’t ya know it—we found it on the side of the road! A little paint job and it blended into the background just right!
Giant thank you to my talented husband for making this a reality. Love you to the moon and back! 🖤
.
P.S. If you missed our Moon Portrait Party, be sure to follow our socials for upcoming events! Next up is a lovely loose leaf tea blending workshop on Nov 7th. Reserve your spot in advance babes! 🫖 by @spotlightvintagevt

Tea weather is upon us! 🫖 Warm up right inside our cozy vintage store, where local herbalist Sarah Auer will walk us through assembling organic loose leaf herbal tea blends!
.

.
🍵Time: The workshop starts at 11am. Please arrive on time.
🍵Price: $25/ per person. Tickets are required, please purchase them in advance at the link in our bio or through the event on our Facebook page.
.

One of my fav moments from our Paper Moon Portrait Party! 📸🌙
My fox fur shawl has the critter’s little face on it—and when our photographer Suzy noticed it she let out a shriek that made Megan and I laugh so hard!
Dave called us a couple of “Pez Dispensers” the way we threw our heads back cackling. The photo deserved its own post. 🤣
I’m so grateful to work and laugh alongside these amazing women!

My little vintage heart is so full! Thank you to everyone who came out to our Paper Moon Portrait Party on Friday. You guys really brought the style! ✨🌙
.
Big shoutout to @ejbushey and Fiddlehead Hollow for providing the perfect tunes for the night and @14thstarbrewing for keeping the champagne flowing!
.
We have the most amazing and creative customers and friends. Some traveled a fair distance to be here, our vendors and I are so incredibly grateful. 🥹
.
If you had a portrait taken, keep an eye out on your inbox this week. Our fabulous photographer Suzy had a wedding to photograph this weekend too but we will get those pictures out to you as soon as possible. 💌
.
It would be criminal to not include a HUGE THANK YOU to my other half Dave for constructing our crescent moon. It was a big project and he absolutely nailed it. Thank you for executing my hair-brained ideas so beautifully. None of this would be possible without your talent.
.
And lastly but certainly not least, thank you @kelly.from.earth for capturing the evening in these photos. I’m always too busy in the moment and it was really lovely to have these pictures to share.
I LOVE OUR LITTLE VILLAGE!
Comment if you think we should do this again! 📸🌙
