Happy new year everybody! And my top 5 voyagers of 2025!
I will try my best to avoid confusion this time 😅. So this list consists of anything that released Jan 1st 2025-December 24th 2025. Repaints and package refreshes do count toward the list but reissues do not. Anything December 31st 2024 and before won’t count.

5- WFC ironhide was a fun figure to get, having never actually played any of the cybertron games it’s been good to experience the characters for the first time as toys, ironhide is far from perfect tho, I have issue with his transformation where things just don’t quite want to fit into place. However his paint, articulation and accessories are all fantastic.
4- WFC thundercracker is another fantastic figure, however there’s been some mould degradation as he is quite loose in the arms, plus he doesn’t seem to want to tab in either when in jetmode. All things considered I think he could easily be 2nd or 3rd, originally he was third but I can’t have him higher than others with how loose he got.
3- AOTP prima is an underrated figure for me, originally he was 4th and I decided that quickly but after hearing others praise and having a play with him again I realised how good he actually was. I reckon after time this list might change. He’s packed with articulation but most importantly great range. Ball jointed wrists to help with saber poses. Great design. But he isn’t perfect because the truck mode is a little boring and working the legs into truck mode is also a little painful.
2- skybyte is such a gorgeous figure. A very nostalgic release for me as when I was younger I had a RID2001 Dvd for a few episodes. He’s got great articulation, but I think it’s hard to make him as dynamic in poses. Great transformation and stunning shark mode.
1- AOTP red alert is the most solid and genuinely perfect voyager in my collection. He’s got so much articulation, a faithful design and a ton of fun accessories. Also a good mould for the flatline release. His transformation is also very solid and alt mode follows the pattern

Here are the top 5 deluxe class figures of the year!
A big year where I collected 29 deluxes released this year and getting it down to five was so tough but I believe I am happy with this list.
This list will only include figures released from January 1st-December 24th
5 - G1 Magnus was a very fun figure to mess with, I got him before the optimus and I think that made it more fun for me, a good selection of accessories, simple fun transformation and enough possibility to get good poses!
4- AOTP Topspin another enjoyable and very surprising addition to the list, I wasn’t anticipating how fun he was gonna be until I got him out, yes I am aware he is a repaint but this specific figure released in 2025 in the wreck’n doom 2 pack
3- AOTP Spinister is the same as topspin and that is why he is eligible, however this deluxe figure was so good I thought he was a voyager, came with great accessories, packed with articulation and a very fun and “complex” transformation
2 - Bumblebee movie Bee was another surprise for me. When I first got him I had so much fun with him even when he has limited ranged, missing wrists and waist joints and a somewhat painful transformation. The design is really good I think he’s the best movie bee in my collection but not by a long shot.
1- AOTP Venin was such a blast, he has so much range in all his joints and a really fun accessory, the axe that can split into a gun and axe head gives you way more options. I wish he has a wrist swivel but due to his transformation you can use the downward wrist for axe poses. The bug mode has a little to be desired but it’s very cute so it passes. Very fun and simple figure who I think everyone should get one.

Thank you all for the support! Up next the Voyagers!

This might be my favourite set of bots from modern day combiners. All of them have fun transformations and articulation. They all work to well with each other and unlike combiner wars they’re actually sturdy. I will have another 1 or 2 posts about this lot down the line as I took quite a few photos with them.
I hope they make a denfensor soon as him going toe to toe with this beast.

What an awesome design. He is super imposing and just covered in lovely detail.
His articulation is good but man just like megatronus I’m just struggling to get things going with this guy. Maybe I’ll give him a better gallery down the line soon.

Got myself the new prowl and blitzwing and I have to say they’re wonderful and a bunch of fun. Didn’t quite finish the gallery but have enough to say in satisfied.
Prowl was a real surprise for me actually. Really well articulated and a fun transformation with both his alt and robot mode being fantastic but maybe needing some toyhax.
Blitzwing is compromised for sure but still fun and engaging, some cool accessories and good ranges allow for some fun poses.

Next up we look at liege maximo!

And finally his combined mode!

I posted part 1 and 2 earlier last month and I’ve finally covered the absolute peak of this figure. By far the most fun I’ve had with a transformer for months if not my entire collecting journey. The transformation of getting him from robot to truck to combined mode is awesome and so engaging. The base mode is fun and has loads of features. His articulation and detail is fantastic. He’s gorgeous to look at and just hold. He’s only going to get better when jetfire comes out.

“Be strong enough to be gentle”

Here is a collection of photos of different Optimus primes from my previous galleries, or just photos I took throughout the years. Some of these photos are of Optimus not voiced by Peter but without his portrayal of G1 Optimus we may never have had these other versions.

Peter will be missed by all including me. His voice was what made Optimus who he was, a real leader.

As we are all aware Peter Cullen has passed away.

Not just a phenomenal voice actor, but also a hero to many around the globe. My childhood hero. My current hero. Transformers as we know it would’ve never been as successful if it weren’t for the voice of Optimus Prime.
We will always remember him for his fantastic work from G1 to Prime and in his live action performances.

I also want to mention his fantastic work as other characters such as eeyore From winnih the Pooh (my Grans favourite) and Theadus from invincible, a character in many ways similar to Optimus Prime.

There will be no one like him, but I welcome anyone who wants to take on the voice of this character with open arms.
