HIT PLAY ON YOUR NEXT PROJECT AT SPRING TANK

@spring_tank_studio is a non-profit hub of creativity for all things music, designed for artists to create, collaborate, and connect. 🎧

With three dedicated rooms, there’s something for everyone. DJs can mix on industry-standard Pioneer decks, producers have a fully equipped recording and mixing studio, and bands can rehearse with a full setup.

All profits the studio make is reinvested back into the equipment, which allows them to improve the gear and spaces for artists. 🎸

And when the sun finally decides to come back out, their courtyard transforms into an event space with live performances from DJs.

Whether you’re laying down tracks, jamming with mates, or just looking for a space to get creative, you know where to go.

Our weekly music sessions for 11-18 year olds at Spring Tank are back!

In collaboration with @furd_umix_centre , we’re welcoming young people to join us every Thursday (during term time) 4:30–7:30 pm

Come along, meet other young musicians and learn, create and develop your skills across:

Beat making Vocal recording Live band jams

Whether you’re just getting started or already making music, come along, get involved and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

North live sessions has now come to an end ❤️

Over the past months we’ve met some incredibly talented DJs and discovered some sick new music.

To every artist who gave us their time and shared their music with us, you made this series what it was - thank you 🫶

We’re proud that, in some small way, we were able to shine a light on some of the amazing talent in the north.

A huge thank you to @spring_tank_studios for letting us book out their space every week!

Although this is the end of North Live Sessions it definitely isn’t the end of us supporting local creatives, we’ll see you all again soon 👀

Slightly delayed (and slightly soppy) event post alert 🚨

We’re still feeling overjoyed and overwhelmed after Higher Fields 2026.

Seeing people of all ages come together, and enjoy the day was truly something special. If you’d told us a couple of months ago that we’d sell out, we would have laughed in your face.

The trust and support you all showed means the absolute world to us 🌍. Thanks to you, we’ve not only made it through, we’re already dreaming about 2027!

With rising costs everywhere, putting on events like this has never been more challenging, which makes your support even more important.

This wouldn’t have happened without the performers, stage partners, sound crews, medical staff, security, site crew, venue managers, food traders, people who lend us stuff, volunteers, and bar staff, every single one of you played a part.

We already can’t wait to do it all again… more news on that coming soon… 🌞

Here’s the running order for tomorrow! 🌞

A huge thank you once again to all of our partner collectives for curating such incredible line-ups and bringing together some of the best DIY talent from Sheffield and beyond.

A quick reminder about tickets:

🎟️ Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4, Kids and Low Wage tickets are valid for the daytime festival only (12pm–9pm).

🌙 The afterparty starts at 9pm inside Steamworks and is only for those with an Afterparty Ticket or a Combo (Day & Night) Ticket.

There are only a handful of afterparty tickets left, and we’re expecting them to sell out today.

If you don’t manage to grab one, or fancy a change of scenery after 9pm, our bestie @zsatsumas will be DJing over at @gutlevelsheffield . ❤️

🚨IMPORTANT FESTIVAL INFORMATION

🕛 The gates will open at 12:00 on Saturday. Last entry will be 18:00 and we won’t be doing re-entry.

🎟️ Please have your ticket ready to be scanned when you arrive. If you have purchased a combo (day/night) ticket or separate daytime and afterparty tickets, you will receive separate wristbands for each upon entry.

📍All access to the festival site is via the Bramall Lane end of Randall Street. Please do not attempt to enter via the Hill Street entrance.

⏰ Last entry to the daytime festival site is 18:00. The outdoor event will finish at 21:00. If you are not attending the afterparty (which starts at 21:00), please leave the area quietly and be respectful of local residents.

🍺 Please do not bring alcohol onto the site. Bar sales are essential to helping us cover the costs of the event, as we are currently operating at a loss, even if all tickets are sold. There will be polite bag checks at the entrance.

🚫 Drugs, weapons, and NOS are strictly prohibited. Any prohibited items found during entry checks will be confiscated, and in some cases the police may need to be involved.

💧You are welcome to bring water and reusable water bottles. There will be two free water points available: one at the main bar inside Steamworks and another in the Spring Tank Studios yard.

☀️ We are expecting hot weather, so please drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and consider bringing a hat. We are planning to provide shaded areas across the site. If you feel unwell at any point, please speak to a member of the event staff or visit the medical team, who will be based next to the main entrance.

🍔 There will be three food vendors on site offering a range of meat, vegetarian, and vegan options.

❤️ Please be respectful of one another. We will not tolerate racism, sexism, transphobia, ageism, or any other form of discriminatory or offensive behaviour. If you witness any such behaviour, please inform a member of the event team and we will take appropriate action.

Ahead of the @gutlevelsheffield takeover in the @spring_tank_studios yard, our @maddifearn popped down to their DIY space for a chat with @matiekatthews 🥰

On the day, Gut Level will be bringing together @jorg_kuning , @aminaminaa , @be__ttyyy and @lickquidgold_ and we CANNOT WAIT!!

INFORMATION ON TICKETS 🎟️

Tickets for Higher Fields Festival are split into daytime (12pm–9pm) and afterparty (9pm–2am) access, with combo tickets also available.

DAY FESTIVAL: To access the daytime section of the festival, you’ll need either a Tier 1–4 ticket, a Low Wage ticket, or an Under 18s ticket (for those under 18). Combo tickets also include daytime access.

All daytime tickets operate on a pay-what-you-can basis, with Tier 4 acting as the highest level of support for the festival.

AFTERPARTY: To attend the afterparty, you’ll need either an Afterparty ticket or a Combo (Day & Night) ticket.
