ICU Pan American and Copa America Cheerleading Championships 2026 🌟

Still taking in such a special weekend. So grateful to have met so many amazing people, shared the floor with incredible talent, and made memories with people and teams from all over.❤️

Honoured and proud to bring home bronze from the Pan American Championships and silver from the Copa America Championships in Pom Doubles. We are so lucky to represent Team Canada!🇨🇦

Thank you @gritandgrace77, @jayjo75, @cheer_canada, and our parents for all of your support throughout this experience, as well as @totalspirit for our costuming and @glsdance for providing us with studio space. We appreciate each and every person who helped make this experience so special!🫶

So many of our international friends know and love Marlon. He has coached at California All-Stars and now Unity All-Stars … two programs we adore. He has been a fixture at our conferences for many years and has the best heart.

It would mean a lot to us if you could support our friend. One of the things we love most about our cheerleading community is the way we come together for good.

Sending Marlon, his family and friends and everyone who loves him strength for the days ahead. by @springcdt

THE NEXT STEP IS OFFICIAL.

Coed Premier has been named a confirmed discipline for The World Games 2029.

That matters.

The World Games represents another significant step forward for cheerleading on the international sporting stage and, perhaps, another step toward the Olympic dream so many in our sport have imagined for years.

Does Coed Premier showcase everything Canadian cheerleading has to offer? No. Our country is deep, diverse and incredibly talented across divisions and disciplines, and we hope the opportunities on the world stage continue to grow to reflect that.

But today, we celebrate this one.

Because cheerleading has earned its place at another prestigious international multi-sport event.

And now Canada needs to earn ours.

We have the athletes. We have the coaches. We have the talent, history and competitive fire to belong on that floor.

The road to 2029 starts now.

Canada needs to be part of The World Games. 🇨🇦

One more door has opened.

Let’s make sure the Maple Leaf walks through it. by @springcdt

CHEER IN WORLD GAMES
The ICU just announced that in 2029 cheerleading will be in the world games

What is this?
The World Games are one of the world’s largest multi-sport events and, every four years, the international highlight for more than 30 sports and disciplines not included in the Olympic programme. In 2029, Karlsruhe will become the first city ever to welcome athletes and fans from around the globe for a second time, after hosting the event in 1989. And it’s not only sports enthusiasts who can look forward to the return of The World Games to this southern German metropolis. TWG2029 will be more than sport. It will be a platform for sporting excellence, cultural exchange, and international community.

It literally the step before Olympics!!!

https://twg2029.com/en/

It’s less than 3 years away!!

After recognition, this is the most serious development we have had in Cheerleading.

As many of you know I just started coaching Team Canada 🇨🇦 Coed Premier. I am so excited about this opportunity and development.

Congratulations to Karl Olson Mike Cooper International Cheer Union my friends at CCVD Team Germany - Cheerleading Nationalmannschaft in Germany 🇩🇪 and of course Cheer Canada here at home.
