S K I N

I had the honor and privilege of working with these amazing young people on #internationalalbinismawarenessday for @bonaubuntuprogramme and @swirlkous_films , who started off shy infront of the camera, but after seeing the first couple of photos of their friends, started building up worlds of confidence and all expressing themselves differently. Though it was bitter sweet as the last slide is of a young man I met afew days prior named Kurtley Rossouw , a bright young man with so much drive and ambition , who spoke about making changes to the narratives surrounding Albinism. Sadly not more than 2 weeks later, Kurtleys was taken from us 🕊, as a result of a stray bullet. Allegedly gang related, Kurtley was playing Soccer outside with his friends when the incident accured.

So as we appreciate the beauty of these young people, please keep our youth, and our country in prayer and perhaps most importantly at this point the family of Kurtley 🙏

I love you all.
