'The Porhalaan is the traditional calendar of the Batak people of North Sumatra, Indonesia. The Batak Calendar is a lunisolar calendar consisting of 12 months divided to 30 days with an occasional leap month. The Batak calendar is derived from Hindu Calendar. Customized Kukri grip for an old @calimacil_official foam Kukri. Cut down the grip to the right size and used a hot wire to create a mould that could fit the Bone-plate. Then wrapped the other side of the grip with leather and glued the bone-plate in. All wrapped with leather-cord.

A little artificial wear and tear can do wonders for the credibility of your costume. So, I finally got to assemble my new belt. Featuring two seperate belts and a buckle I found at a fleamarket a while ago (<3 fleamarkets). The two belts had nearly the same thickness and the loose ends I wanted to connect got shaped into two overlapping wedges (did a half-descent job there with a razorblade). Then I glued them together and sewed them onto each other.
