Get acquainted with the selectors soon to rock your world downstairs this Friday: JD No stranger to a set of turntables, JD has been an active selector in our scene for some time; setting local bars and dance floors ablaze in her wake. Along with her deep and carefully curated bag of records, JD also has the experience and ability to place on the platter the exact required vibe. Luk With a keen ear for the warm crackle and hiss, Uruguayan-born Luk has spent decades steadily planting his feet right where he wants them. Ever since his early exposures to dance music, Luk has never settled for one sound; constantly digging and collecting between each shade and frequency out there. His local parties through @espaciotiemponaarm give Luk a space to showcase his favourite music and artists. Luk has also created an impressive discography of mixes, notably his The Sizeable Mix featured on @kalaharioystercult. Spuds & Kissa Long term partners in life and behind the decks, Spuds & Kissa have spent years developing their musical tastes alongside one another, while each carving out a style of their own. Their individual approaches to digging, selecting and mixing naturally complement each other, allowing them to bounce between sounds, moods and energies without losing their own flavour. Couples that spin together stay together, and once you hear these two together on Friday you’ll be sure to stay too. by @spuds.wav

Introducing: SPUDS & KISSA Spuds, father of Anyplace, is a seasoned figure in the underground music scene, with a reputation for throwing parties across Boorloo (Perth) and now Naarm (Melbourne). With years of experience under his belt, Spuds has curated a vast collection of music spanning all genres, ensuring non-stop boogie at every set. His deep connection to the underground has made him the driving force behind Anyplace’s dynamic energy. Kissa, on the other hand, burst onto the scene with a b2b debut alongside @van_rullen at The Gaso back in April. Since then, she’s been eager to push her boundaries, exploring multiple genres and perfecting her sound. While she may be new to the scene, her years of research and acute hearing has prepared her to unleash a collection of hidden gems that will leave you wanting more. This Sunday!
