We are blessed here at Saint Pius to have a historic track and field program that has had lots of huge accomplishments. We have so many elite athletes that have worn the Chi Rho across their chest that we wanted to figure out a way to honor them a couple years ago. When we created the record board down at the stadium, we decided to create the Lion Legend Award. This award, that is not given out every year, is presented to those elite athletes who rise above the rest to leave their marks at Saint Pius. Below are the names of the current lion legends.

Proud of our SPX alums, Lulu Smith and Austin Sprague, for competing in and completing the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France! An incredible accomplishment on the world stage and a true testament to the hard work, dedication, and perseverance that define our Lions.

Today we celebrated our seniors with our Senior Singlet Ceremony, where each senior received their singlet from their parents along with a few words about the person, teammate, and runner they’ve become.
